Dr. Jessica Myhre, DO

Dr. Myhre has got to be hands down the most compassionate and knowledgeable doctors in the area. She lets the patients engage in their care. She has her own clinic which allows her more time with patients on their visits. It's extremely hard to find a good provider let alone a Physician.

Both my husband and I had been increasingly frustrated with the direction of 'managed healthcare.' The movement of physicians being forced into becoming a part of larger institutions with more and more limitations on how they manage individual patients. Initially we were disappointed to see Dr Myhre leaving Olympic Medical Center, but then received notice that she was establishing a independent practice. We were dreading looking for primary care within the system, again, because we both had felt comfortable with her from the beginning. My expectations were to have more time when needed during a visit with clear explanation of conditions. What I can control and what I can not. To have guidance to highly qualified specialists if needed. I also lean towards a preventative approach. I am looking for guidance within reason as to what can I do to maintain optimal health, based on the science as we know it today, and my age. Dr Myhre has met those expectations.

I sought out a DO years ago as I have musculoskeletal issues from a lifetime of physical labor and hard play. I got on a 3 or 4 month waiting list to see Dr. Myhre and when my appointment finally came around I was very impressed. I had given up on the predatory insurance industry decades ago so my resources for treatment were limited and I could not opt for everything I needed. Now that she is in her own practice with a reasonable payment structure I am happy to be her patient again. Even though I now have medicare seeing Dr. Myhre is much better than participating in the traditional AMA/Insurance structure. She is genuinely attentive, kind, and skilled at what she does. Combine that with a stress reducing atmosphere and it's a win win.

I am very grateful to have Dr Myhre as my primary care doctor. She takes all the time needed to understand my health concerns. She always responds to my questions and gets right back to me via text or phone within the same day. She also has been very encouraging in the areas of nutrition and emotional well being.

Our family have been patients of Dr. Myhre's for many years. We appreciate that Dr. Myhre thinks outside the box to investigate and resolve both ordinary and complicated health issues. Her recommendations for treatment are very helpful. She will also refer to a specialist when the situation warrants. We have found her OMT treatments to be very beneficial in addressing different areas and systems of the body. Dr. Myhre's direct primary care model enables her to go the extra mile to resolve a health issue which is very much appreciated when you are dealing with chronic disease.

Dr Myhre practices medicine with the philosophy that the mind, body and spirit must be a part of the treatment plan. She is thorough and detailed in her assessment and evaluation of the patient. Her approach to health care incorporates both holistic and traditional medical care.

Dr. Myhre has been mine and my families Primary Care Physician for many years. The greatest compliment is to say I completely trust her with my life and have had to do that several times in our Doctor/Patient relationship. When she decided to open a new health care center and practice there was no doubt we would follow her. I'm relocating to another State but am so passionate about her excellent care for me that I will be maintaining her as Medical Consultant to my new PC Dr. She knows my history, my body, and all of my needs and is critical to my good health and wellbeing. Doctors like Dr. Myhre are rare and only come along once in a lifetime, so if she has an opening I highly recommend jumping on the opportunity to join her practice and have her as your personal Doctor. She has been my physician for years and seems to have excellent knowledge about multiple areas, sometimes more than specialists.

I’m not one to go to the Doctor, as I take good care of myself and Doctors aren’t good listeners and are on a tight 10-15 minute time frame per patient. Which isn’t enough time in my opinion. However, after seeing her for the first time in 2018 I was impressed by her true compassion, genuine concern for my health and the time she took with me. Fast forward when she opened her own family practice my husband and I jumped at the chance to have her as our Doctor!! The bonus is her amazing craft in Osteopathic Manipulation. She’s a true healer. And a gem of a person!!

Was the most comfortable I've ever been in a clinic setting. Dr. Myhre was incredibly attentive and patient. She came up with and explained clearly a health plan that aligned perfectly with my goals. I'm very happy with my care!

We are fortunate to have a Physician here who is focused on wellness and improving our quality of life. She does not believe that medicine is simply pharmaceutica (pills) or in unnecessary tests which means for me, cost savings and something you can't buy; Trust. She is a treasure in our little neck of the woods.

Last visit was for a steroid shot in my knee to ease arthritic pain. Dr. Myhre administered the shot most effectively and I felt no discomfort. As with all my visits with Dr. Myhre she has been both friendly and concerned along with professional. I am glad to be in her care.

Dr Myhre’s practice is one of the very best I have ever experienced. To sum her up in a word, she cares. She takes the time to listen and never rushes through an appointment. She inspires trust through her compassionate approach to medicine. Very few medical professionals have earned my trust as quickly as she has and I have over 75 years experience with health care. She once told me that the one size fits all approach to medical care is not what she practices. She listens, makes lifestyle recommendations, and any patient lucky enough to have her as their Dr will see very quickly how much she genuinely cares about you. I am confident I will have a great quality of life as long as I am in her care.

Dr. Myhre is a true "partner" in your health care. She listens to your concerns and, with your comments, comes up with a plan to find what is causing your health issues. She's never dismissive or patronizing, but caring and willing to work "with" you instead of dictating what is going to happen. She's always available via her portal or text app during business hours, using responding to concern with an hour.

During my visits to Dr.Jessica She did what several ciropractors had failed to do. She was able adjust my lower back so that it does not hurt any more and the cramping in my lower legs is happening far less than in the past. This has allowed me to sit longer, walk farther and enjoy working in my gardens in the back yard.

Great doctor for any age. She is very attentive to detail and addresses all health concerns. You never feel rushed or part of a system . BONUS she's a DO which means she does manipulations.

Dr Jessica (Nikki) is the greatest, I look forward to every visit with her. She is so good at what she does, it is the reason I left my previous situation to come to her private practice. I would never go to anyone else unless it was on her advice!

Dr Jessica Myhre is an amazing Physician! I started seeing her some years back and soon after she became our Family’s Physician. Dr Myhre really cares about her patients, she not only listens but hears & understands and explains everything. Our 17 year old daughter told me "Dr Myhre's really easy to talk to" which is priceless! Our family feels so lucky to have found her! What's also great is she's ontop of her game yet young enough- I'm guessing she's probably in her (Mid 30's) which is great because we all hope to keep her as our family doctor for years to come :) I also had my 1st televist with her :) Oh and get this, have you ever felt too bad to get up and drag yourself into the Doctor's Office? Dr Myhre was even making house calls last I knew! :) This reminds me of when I was little, some 50+ years ago and I had a bad ear infection and my siblings were also sick. ThevDoctor made a house call for us kids and he gave me a shot in the butt, so I kicked him in his knee! :)
