My child has been sick repeatedly and has gotten behind on his vaccines due to it. I have allowed his vaccines when he's not sick. Our regular pediatrician in the same office is very understanding and has helped us catch up as we are able when the child isn't currently sick. This doctor after only one recent visit told me that she plans to give me a dismissal letter from the practice if I refuse vaccines at the time of visit. My son also has a kidney problem that has affected this issue.
