5hrs in KP Urgent Care, Lack of Empathy
5 hrs in KP Urgent Care. Left with no info on why I had random episodes of severe back pain. I had to pick my daughter up from school. Testing, scans, etc during visit and yet nothing determine. I came for my yearly check up and was surprised when family doc said what happen w that kidney stone and ovary cyst from Urgent visit. Was furious that there was no follow up or call. Rude attitude as a doc, no empathy. Never had a horrible doc like her.

As an ER physician, I had no choice in choosing Dr. Depaepe but was fortunate she diagnosed and treated my condition. Wait times in the VMC are dependent on number of cases. The nurses or doctors have no control over this and work as fast as possible. Dr. Depaepe still took ample time to listen to me; perform the necessary tests; and treat my condition. Try using an urgent care facility for minor conditions. Too often I see an entire family seeking care & not use a family doctor.
