I had surgery on my left foot to repair plantar faucitis. From the initial diagnosis through the surgery and recovery Dr. Doty and his staff have been wonderful. Dr. Doty is knowledgeable in his practice, an experienced surgeon, compassionate in his interviews, and provides excellent service to his patients.

The staff and faculty were amazing. I completely shattered my heal bone and had to make several trips to see the tam and I can say I never once had anything to complain about, they are very professional and care for the patients well being.

Dr Doty did a Big toe fusion and repaired my hammer toe less then 5 months ago…….i am absolutely amazed what a great job he did and how much it has improved my every day. Quality of life! He is such a kind personable person, so easy to talk to and he really cares about his patients . I would highly recommend him to anyone who has a foot or ankle problem! He’s absolutely the BEST!!!!

Dr. Doty performed a fusion surgery on my right ankle. lt has been a long but successful surgery. He was very concerned about me having so much pain before the surgery but very pleased with the results and so am l!!. Great surgeon and staff!!!

Extremely intelligent and loved a challenge! I was a challenge. His staff was so efficient and skills are the best I could have asked for. Dr. Doty was personable and took the time to answer my questions. He was the only one who would take a chance on me. RESULTS.... 100% outcome! I'm forever indebted to him. Dr. Doty has performed two complete ankle replacements on me. I have no pain now and I feel like running again. I had zero pain after surgery due to great pain management and very little swelling. Without surgery I would have been wheelchair bound and in great pain. I am convinced that Dr. Doty has extended my life for several years. I am 65 and loving life. His staff is fantastic and was very responsive to my concerns. Dr. Doty cares about me and I would not consider going to anyone else. The outcome of both surgeries was perfect.

Dr. Doty performed bunion surgery on both of my feet in 2023. The experience was much easier than I had anticipated. Even though I didn't know what to expect with my first foot, my nurse from Dr. Doty's office called me regularly and answered all my questions. If I had a question in between her calls, I called her and she always responded in a timely manner. I was impressed with the confidence and praise the nurses that worked with Dr. Doty had for his ability. I am now one year out from my first surgery and seven months out from my second and am so thankful to look down at 'normal looking' feet for the first time in at least thirty years. I am able to walk and hike without my toes rubbing together in my shoes. I just had my last follow up appointment with Dr. Doty and appreciated how concerned he was about my results. Not only did he answer my questions, but he gave me information I didn't even know to ask about. He told me to contact him at any time in the future if I needed to.

Dr. Jesse Doty and his team were a blessing and answer to prayer for me. I had major ankle issues that had caused me lots of pain for a very long time. My mobility was very limited and decreasing daily. Unfortunately prior to seeing Dr. Doty, I had care provided by another orthopedic surgeon that resulted in an unsuccessful surgery with no improvement. After my first visit with Dr. Doty, I knew that I had found a Doctor that could help me and he did. Although, Dr Doty told me up front that it might take two surgeries to fix my ankle problems, he suggested we take one step at a time and that he was going to do his best to try and fix my issues with only one surgery. One year ago, I had surgery #1 and today I feel SO much better. Dr Doty was successful in fixing my ankle with only one surgery! If you have ankle issues, Dr. Jesse Doty and his team are the BEST!!!

Dr. Doty stressed that he didn't want to over promise potential results of my surgery. He didn't over promise; he over delivered. My ankle was in a deplorable condition, and he worked a miracle on it!

Dr. Jesse Doty is phenomenal!! He recently performed a bunion removal on my foot. He is an amazing surgeon!!!! His staff went above and beyond to see that I was well taken care of. I highly recommend him and his staff.

My 1st visit was informative & allowed me to make the decision of when I would need surgery. That would come 9 months later. Each step Dr Doty & his team are not only professional, they also allow the time for you to ask questions. Surgery prep via emails and phone calls (Tonya) was exceptional, day of surgery was peaceful, his team in the ER work amazing together. Dr Doty is kind and generous with his time, fully explaining all details pre and post surgery. His front office staff are professional & helpful, I showed up post surgery on the wrong day to see Megan Henry, they fit me in anyway! Megan Henry is a great fit as a NP to this team, again answering questions & fully explaining xray results & what my next steps. On my 12 week appt I was released! Dr Doty explaining in detail what my next year, 5 yr & 10 yr may look like. I healed well physically & with the entire team behind me the last 12 weeks were seamless. Thank-you Dr Doty!

Finding the right surgeon can be a daunting task, but I had such a feeling of peace after I interviewed Dr. Jesse Doty in regard to my flatfoot ankle. His clinical skills and medical expertise were very impressive. Decisive, but not pushy, he outlined the proper surgical procedure for me, and I felt comfortable in scheduling my surgery to take place within the following 5 weeks. That proved to be an informative time as his staff was in continuous contact with me via phone calls, and Erlanger My Chart messages. I was able to access online videos which explained my condition, as well as, the protocol for the day of surgery. Every base was completely covered. I’ve done so well with my recovery (very speedy) with virtually no pain or complications—a direct result of Dr. Doty’s excellent surgical skills and the goodness of God. These folks will take such good care of you! We are truly blessed to have Dr. Jesse Doty as part of our Chattanooga medical community.

Thank you Dr. Jesse Doty for your incredible surgical skills, your ability to triangulate, and your innovative, technical brilliance. I searched nationally for almost a decade for a surgeon that could fix my complicated bunion without fusion and without compromising my mobility and balance. The recovery is a tad longer but the result is perfect. Thanks to Dr. Doty, I am skiing, hiking, biking, and wearing shoes pain free for the first time in 20 years!!!

I had had both feet develop major issues over the years with crossover toes, my big toe was completely out of place and lay over my other toes, every toe was out of place and I couldn't stand or walk for more than a few minutes. As a retired teacher, I love to travel and my husband and I had been on many wonderful vacations--Hawaii (twice), England (three times), Alaska, and we got in all fifty states and then I couldn't even go to the beach! Dr. Doty was highly recommended to me by my primary care doctor and I researched him and saw the success he was having with operating on feet and ankles. He has a marvelous team working with him who you may any questions or express concerns, it is easy to find a number you may call inside the brochure he gives you with the information you will need about your surgery. I had my left foot operation in October, 2021 and it was a complete success. My right foot will be operated on soon and then I will go shopping for new shoes!

Dr Jesse Doty is a very talented surgeon. He operated on my right forefoot/toe area with great results. His passion for his work is undeniable and his surgical results are amazing. He cares about his patients and wants them to be not only pain free but also happy. I trust him and have highly recommended him to many people and will continue to do so. PA Joshua Porter is great too. He also shows concern and direction in a caring manner.

Dr. Doty was excellent! Highly recommended! He did both bunion and hammertoe surgeries. He and Josh Porter were kind and helped a lot with recommending inserts and splints. The results from the bunion surgeries turned out really well.
