Great Dr.
I saw Dr. Ainsworth on a very regular basis for several years. He was always very compassionate, listened to my concerns and finally gave me a diagnosis that made sense. He was patient and tried several medications until I was finally stable. Unfortunately, I had to move. I have seen 5 psychiatrists in my new town, but I can’t find one I like as much as Dr. Ainsworth.

40 min. initial eval. $755.00 -- have fun getting your bill and seeing how much your insurance covered vs. how much you owe. This guy was so strange and inattentive during our session, did not offer a diagnosis, did not offer a plan of treatment, did not even explain our session was ending- he simply just stood up mid-conversation and awkwardly walked toward the door to open it. Hartnell Behavioral Center office staff is running on 1980s standards and needs to catch up with the times. Very disappointed in my appointment with Dr. Ainsworth, do not waste your money.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Ainsworth?
Dr Jerry Ainsworth is a product of modern western medicine that is driven by the pharmaceutical industry and insurance companies. He is not interested in a person's health or care. He is unprepared and in attentive during appointments. His credentials would suggest that he is highly qualified but his approach is assembly line in nature and medication focused. If you desire a compassionate professional who asks and answers questions and tailors treatment to specific needs, he is not recommended.

Dr. Ainsworth helped bring me back to functioning at a time when I was ready to throw in the towel, as nothing had helped.
