Dr. Jeremy Wittenborn, MD

Dr. Wittenborn was the on-call nephrologist for Franciscan Health this week when my father-in-law needed a sudden transition from peritoneal dialysis to hemodialysis due to a hernia. Dr. W took the time sit down in the hospital room and engage in a personable, compassionate, and understandable manner. He was efficient but not rushed and willingly took questions.

He takes time to explain clearly and is not annoyed by questions. You can tell he actually cares about the patient.

Dr Wittenborn took the time to fully explain my health issues. I felt he gave me the time I needed so I didn t feel rushed.

Not sure what the Review Title means? Dr. Whittenborn far exceeded my expectations. He was friendly, engaged with my history, and very professional in his explanations of my particular test results. I’m not sure the ultrasound is necessary- because of cost to me. I do understand he wants to rule out any underlying causes. I am most impressed he wants to follow up in 4 months. Absolutely wonderful! Dr. Whittenborn has a way with patients. I was a brand new patient; but he made me feel at ease and I was able to talk with him.

Dr. Wittenborn makes me feel heard. He listens, very attuned to a patients' concerns and navigates well on suggesting what I can do to help myself with my kidney disease. I'm confident of the excelllent care of this Dr.:)!!

Dr. Wittenborn always explains your test results with charts and diagrams. He will tell you where your lab tests were and what improvements have been made by simply changing your medications. He always listens to your concerns and explains how they may be improved or simply assures you that they are not a problem.

Didn't have to wait long. Dr. spent time and explained my lab results. He didn't rush through my appt. He was very kind and caring. I felt very comfortable at my appointment. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.

Dr. Wittenborn is an excellent doctor. He has the patience to listen to you, and always explains thoroughly so that you understand all your issues. I would recommend him to anyone.
