Dr. VALENE IS VERY CARING AND ATTENTIVE.
He is a good listener and very attentive to your needs. I especially liked the way he explained each procedure and did not rush my visit. As a new patient he review my file and attentively sought to find solutions to my eye problems not hesitating to refer me to other specialists. He is a very caring person.

+ Dr. Valentine is very skilled and knowledgable about everything around my cataract surgery. I know that there are very precise measurements that are taken and I did end up with 20/20 distance vision as a result - I chose the Toric lens which for about 10% of patients has the unpleasant side effect of glare especially at night. I am one of the 10%. Looking at a street light at night I see large streaks coming out and it looks like there is nothing that Dr Valentine can do about it. Had I been aware that this was a potential side effect, I may have chosen the standard lens. While this may have required that I wear glasses to improve acuity, I would not have the glare which has basically ruined my enjoyment of being out at night. My advice: DO NOT MAKE A DECISION AT THE DR's OFFICE WHEN PRESENTED WITH OPTIONS. To me it felt like the pressure one feels while at a car dealership. This is something that you will need to live with forever. Consider options and do your research.

Poor wait times. Just a factory for pushing people out the door as fast as possible. Uncoordinated. Condescending.
