Dr. Jeremy Parcells, MD

Dr Parcells removed my Gall Bladder even though the gastroenterology Dr said it might not be needed. He then proceeded to repair the Hernia and said he wouldn’t do that repair unless he could insert the Linxx device. I had a couple months of trying to adjust to it and I advised him I was struggling and he completely disregarded my concerns I had to seek out multiple doctors to even have someone try and help and finally I had a Gastroenterologist surgeon remove the Linxx. It migrated over the top of my stomach and cause a bifurcation of my stomach and I’m barely able to even eat solid food. Not only that but because of my constant and persistent vomiting I’ve not been able to go back to work. I advised the nurses at Mansfield along with asking them to call him when I was having major vomiting just a couple hours post op nobody would call and “bother” him. The dr who finally removed it believes likely that’s when it shifted over the stomach and caused me these issues. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

Bedside manner is terrible..ugly,lazy incisions..would never recommend!

Dr.Parcell was excellent at listening to my needs and concerns as well as the surgery itself. I was comfortable knowing I was in good hands.

I needed hernia repair, I was scared and was referred to Dr. Parcell. Staff was very kind and helped me with my insurance information. Visits were short and fast but he definitely knows what he is doing. I’m am great full for his work, surgery went well. I’m only two weeks in recovery and have only needed pain medication as needed. If you have a question please ask they are there to answer any concerns. I did just that and they were able to put my mind at ease. Thank you

I would not recommend this doctor. I was referred to him to have my birth control removed from my arm. After surgery, I scheduled a follow-up due to having a hole at the surgical site and my skin separating. They did not use stitches on me, only “skin glue” as they called it. I spent an hour in the waiting room and he only spent 30 seconds in the room with me! He said it was fine and would heal. At my regularly scheduled follow-up, he looked at my wound and said “wow, it really did separate. Sorry.” I told him I wasn’t able to straighten out my arm and he scheduled me for yet another follow-up. I canceled. This doctor did not listen to my concerns and merely offered me a “sorry” about my arm. Would never recommend.

I met Dr. Parcells when hospitalized at Mansfield Methodist for my gallbladder. He was certain my gallbladder needed to be removed, waited for additional tests that were necessary in my case to confirm only my gallbladder was involved. The surgery went very well and he was very attentive at my post op appointments.

Dr. Parcells and his staff are great. He was recommended to me by a friend, and I'm glad I listened.

Dr. Parcells is great. It's important to have a Dr. you can trust and have confidence in his abilities. But its even better to have a Dr. who genuinely cares for his patients.

Dr. Parcells has the right combination of expertise and caring attitude. In my opinion he is one of the best in the business.

I love this man he saved my life, I recommend him to anyone that needs help, their aren't many doctors that I trust but I can always count on home to be honest with me.

Dr Parcells bed side manors are deplorable. My wife needed a lap band reversal. Dr . Parcells preformed it. Almost a month later she was back in the Er with an abscessed incision at the abdominal wall layer. Dr Parcells waited four and a half days before he decided to go back in and clean out what now was a staph infection. I do not recommend Dr Parcells as a surgeon.

Had 4 incisions for gall bladder surgery. When the staples were removed from the main/biggest one b toy Dr Parcells, it left a gap of nearly an inch in the incision/wound. Dr Parcells didn't say anything about it when he took out the staples, but when I made an appointment with my regular doctor she was astonished he left it in the condition it was in. Was leaking pus, almost infected, and my doctor had put steri-strip butterflies on it (AND told me to lift NOTHING over 5 pound) or risk bad scar

He was great. He made me feel very comfortable and for an awkward procedure. I would definitely recommend him to family and friends.
