Pain After Surgery
The doctor didn't remove the mass in the colon and patient had severe pain for weeks after the colostomy surgery.

Dr. Cravens Gets Five Stars!
In a word - Fantastic! Dr. Cravens is a miracle worker! He performed a Total Abdominal Colectomy and I feel and function great! For someone with the same condition, I would highly recommend this surgery. Dr. Cravens is the best!

Colon Cancer removal and temproary ileostomy
Dr. Cravens removed a large tumor from my Colon. He was able to successfully remove the mass and all of the cancer. Dr. Cravens successfully took down an ostomy at the time he removed my tumor and then put in a temporary ileostomy, which he removed last week. I am on the road to recovery; I still have some healing to do but prognosis is very promising.

Dr Cravens saved my life with colon rectal surgery. I had a colon vaginal fistula. Had to have a coloscopy bag short term and he was able to remove it. His team provided great service

Hi, I have had the 3 step jpouch surgeries from Dr. Cravens. I am a 32 year old with UC. I was at a low in the hospital Feb 2021. Dr. Cravens made time for me immediately. Thank you for that. I couldn’t wait another day. It was a long hard journey but without ANY complications. I’m 6 weeks out of my last surgery and I feel amazing. If you have UC consider getting this surgery with Dr. Cravens. He is a great doctor and obviously knows what he is doing. My life is changed forever and I am so grateful. I am drug free and illness free. Ready to live my life again.

Although I was unconscious during our most significant encounter, I have can attest to what a wise, skilled, and capable surgeon Dr. Cravens is. His technical mastery, good program for pain management, and thoroughness resulted in my getting through the procedure with very little discomfort. He exceeded the goals of the surgery, and I recovered so quickly that I was able to return to daily activities much faster than I expected. Our encounters while I was awake were also impressive. He was kind, patient, a good communicator, and backed by an entire office of nurses and support staff who couldn't have been more accommodating and responsive.
