Dr. Jeremiah Dewitt, DO

This provider was dismissive, invasive, and unprofessional. I came in clearly requesting imaging for Chronic Active Epstein-Barr Virus (CAEBV.) (when I mentioned the acronyms he replied, “you have what?” ) and persistent lymphadenopathy. I stated I did not want referrals—only imaging. Instead, he accessed my medical records without consent, added outdated medications to my chart without discussing them, and grew visibly uncomfortable when he realized I was well-informed. Rather than engage, he became aggressive and controlling, insisting on an ENT referral despite my repeated pleas and tears. I told him, “An ENT would not help me. I already know what I need at this point.” But he dictated again and then he hung up on me anbruptly,and coded “anxiety” without cause. I was grieving the loss of my best friend—who was failed by the same system. This wasn’t care. It was cold, authoritarian, and harmful. If you’re informed and advocating for your own health, do not trust this provider.

Saw him telehealth because I was having an issue and was nervous about it. He put my mind at ease and helped my panic. Adding him as a favorite! Would def recommend

He was rude and was in a hurry to end the visit. He either disconnected the call or didn’t have the courtesy to call back to conclude the visit if this was a system issue. He doesn’t know answer to basic questions such as what happens if we don’t pursue the path of antibiotics for redness or swelling on an eyelid. Save yourself some time, stress and possibly incompetent treatment for the patient.

Teladoc virtual app…No patience, typing non stop instead of listening. He said need to go see a doctor in person and did not prescribed anything. At the end he cut the video call before i said thanks and good bye. I do not recommend this doctor.

I saw Dr. Jeremiah dewitt today for some advice on what I should do about an acute exacerbation of an issue I’m having. He would not listen to me and kept repeating that “we are not going to solve all your problems today.” He would ask me questions but then seemed frustrated with the answers and told me that I need to be seen in a tertiary clinic that will take a year to get into and advised abt I travel to Michigan nor Minnesota to make a special trip to one of the centers there. He also TOLD ME with no background or evidence, that I must be doctor hopping. He talked over me and when I tried to jump in, he would not let me speak. I had to wave my arms and my husband did the same for many seconds to get him to pause so I could speak. When asked if I could interrupt for a moment, since he was talking about things unrelated to my question, he became more aggressive and told me what I needed to do was to listen to him. He then told me that urgent car wouldn’t solve my issues…and more

Terrible doctor. NO bedside manner. Does not try to get to know you or figure out why he is prescribing something, he just fills it. I don't understand why people like him go into this profession. You have to at least like people and have a desire to get to know them and try to attempt to diagnose them accurately. It's too bad there are doctors out there like him.

I am starting to think the worst kind of doctors end up here at teledoc. He was ready to prescribe me depression drugs. He insisted I have anxiety and that I need to get drugs.

I had an appointment with Dr. DeWitt via Amwell telehealth and I couldnt have been more pleased with the service that was provided!!! Super quick and convenient! He was very thorough and friendly!! Will definitely utilize his service again in the future if needed! Thanks Dr. DeWitt!!!

Jeremiah DeWitt was absolutely terrible. Right from the start, he was aggressive. When I dared to express my discomfort with his tone, he abruptly ended the call. It was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. Avoid!

Unfortunately during the Telehealth visit, he cut me off when describing symptoms and would not listen. Told me I didn’t need to repeat myself. When in reality, he didn’t let me finish my sentence to know I wasn’t repeating myself but trying to explain a symptom. His report was completely inaccurate and included many things we didn’t discuss. He wrote the patient had a negative Covid test, over the counter, medicine was not working, and did a patient exam. None that happened. Horrible experience and rude.

Had a teledoc visit & he ignored my concerns, was condescending, misdiagnosed me, and prescribed the wrong medication.

Dr DeWitt was able to diagnose and treat me for pancreatitis after multiple visits to ER with no dx. He also helped relieve my sciatic nerve pain amongst other things. Highly recommend him.

Discovered a life threatening heart condition that my previous doctor completely missed. Excellent doctor who saved my life.

Interprofessional collaboration failure

Very caring, " Listens" to you and finds answers. I would definitely refer family and friends to him.
