Dr. Jennifer Wingate, MD

The medical practice does not used electronic patient record. They continue to use paper chart. We live in a high tech world in the year 2023. If one receive laryngoscopy of the throat, there are no images collected and store in their medical system. This simple procedure cost $622 with no images for the patient to see or be able to compared after treatment of diagnosis. This cost doesn't include the office visit of $220. However, the office website conveniently allow one to pay your overpriced billed electronically.

My appointment went well. The staff and doctor were friendly and professional. I felt good about the treatment provided.

Making the apt. Was easy. No wait time in the office. Caring staff members. Dr. Wingate was professional, respectful and took her time in dealing with the issue I came in for as well as my questions and concerns.

Yes. The doctor was very informative and answered questions easily.

She told me all the reasons on why adults get their tonsils out. Which I didn't have any of those. Then she seemed upset that I didn't want to get my tonsils out. I just had a tonsil stone I couldnt get out on my own and she couldnt get it. So a waste of time. They all seemed so worried about me wearing a mask when I was alone in the exam room.

Saw her Monday. Had hearing test (per her orders) Tuesday . It’s thursday. No follow up scheduled or explanation of test results (although I called wed to request some kind of feedback). Spent lots of money for nothing it seems.

This Doctor it's so unprofessional. I had a surgery with her, after the surgery she told me "congratulations, it was not cancer", three days later she called me and said "the pathology results just came back, you have cancer", just like that! over the phone!! I have the worst scar because of her that I am sure any doctor could made a better job. I went twice for after surgery check ups and she did not showed up. Totally unprofessional, I would never recommend her to anybody.

Dr. Wingate is an amazingly competent and compassionate physician who performed the surgery for a prosthetic implant for my left ear more than two years ago in the surgical unit in the building where her office is located. Her expertise is such that I left about three hours after checking in for the surgery feeling like I'd had a nap. No side effects, no nasty surprises. My hearing is now much improved. She's wonderful! Highly recommend her!
