Dr. Jennifer Weiner-Smith, MD

Her follow up communication needs work. She is vague and would rather have others that she consults with relay information and/or explain reasons for health decisions. Leaving the patient to surmise and figure it out themselves and then if you ask questions to confirm, she is flippant and vague in her response. If she needs other doctors to explain information that she already spoke to them about, then I don’t feel comfortable with her as a doctor. Direct doctor to patient communication is essential. She’s obviously phoning it in at this point. I had high hopes and a good visit with her initially, it’s unfortunate.

I was sent to the hospital from another provider at this office to give birth to my son. She was on call and told me he was wrong and I needed to go home. She then said “I’ll have you see me as a doctor until you are ready to give birth instead.” Then a preclampsia test result came back and she changed her tune and allowed me to give birth to my son like I medically needed to. Trying to undercut another doctor at her practice and trying to decide who MY doctor would be was incredibly rude.

Dr. Weiner is an excellent doctor. She knows how to listen to her patient needs and a lovely ??????person too... i surely recomment her to all my family and friends??????????
