Dr. Jennifer Soroos, MD

My children have been going to Palmetto Pediatrics for over 3 years and we were extremely satisfied until our doctor left for personal reasons and we were subjected to starting over with a new doctor. Our experience with Dr. Jennifer Soroos was pleasant overall until our family was shamed and bullied for being concerned about one of our children. This arrogant doctor not only dismissed our family history of illnesses s, but dismissed potentially urgent symptoms in our child simply because she didn’t want to be bothered with additional fact finding in order to come close to a diagnosis. Treating a parent as if she shouldn't ask questions about their child’s care, or shaming a parent because they’re concerned is NOT how a doctor should act. TALKING ABOUT A PARENT TO NURSES AND STAFF AND TRYING TO PURPOSEFULLY SHAME THEM FOR REQUESTING FOLLOW UP TESTING AFTER A CHILD HAS BEEN IN THE HOSPITAL IS NOT HOW A DOCTOR SHOULD ACT. This is what happened in front of my child while waiting.

I love Dr. Soroos. She is always so pleasant and willing, I'm a new mom and every time my baby sneezed wrong I brought her in & she talked me through the situations. She takes the time to figure out what works for your child & not some generic remedy. It also helps that she is a mom of young children and has that first hand experience. All of my friends take their children to see her, she was HIGHLY recommended. We never wait long & her assistant is AWESOME.
