AVM resection
My son Liam Lockard was diagnosed with a brain AVM from a MRI in November 2023, Dr Sokolowski ended up performing 3 cerebral angiograms, two during surgery and a complete resection of the arteriovenous malformation. We are extremely happy with the outstanding care we received and the results of the surgery. The surgery went exactly as planned with no complications. I would highly recommend Dr Sokolowski for any neurosurgery and would go to her for any surgery that she was able to perform. It is really nice to be able to get this type of service in Alaska and to not have to leave the state to get this kind of complex surgery done in Anchorage.
