Dr. Jennifer Sbicca, MD

I have never been to a dermatologist before until this year. I had a suspicious spot on my arm that needed to come off. My PCP gave me a referral for a dermatologist. I chose this office since they take my insurance. The office called me after my referral came to them. I made an appointment, but it was for the following month. I got a call the next day, there was some cancellations, I got in that morning. I saw Dr. Sbicca. The moment she walked in the door, I could tell she was a compassionate doctor. She put me at ease and agreed I needed the spot removed. The procedure was done before I knew she had started. Dr. Sbicca has a wonderful bedside manner. She listens and answers your questions, gets to know you as a patient, reassures your concerns. She’s an amazing doctor! I have seen her 3 times in the past 3 months and every time I come in she is compassionate, thorough, and puts any anxiety you have at ease. I highly recommend her for any dermatology needs you have.

During Dr. Sbicca's examination, we talked about Jimmy Buffet, a very popular musician/songwriter who recently passed from a rare form of skin cancer. Dr. Sbicca detected a suspicious lesion. At the following excision appointment, Dr. Sbicca played a Jimmy Buffett album during the procedure. It got my mind away from what was going on. How often do you get to see a physician who just gets you?!

I had my first appointment with Dr. Sbicca and it couldn't have been better! I was there for a yearly skin check, which is normally very anxiety provoking, but she was extremely reassuring and thorough. She answered every question and didn't rush me. Her positive demeanor was very comforting. Highly recommend for all of your skincare needs!

I was a new patient at the Fort Collins office and Dr. Sbicca was great! From the moment she came in, her bubby energy made me feel at ease and comfortable. She took her time doing a thorough evaluation and explained in detail her diagnosis and offered suggestion to treat, as well as what not to do, which I appreciated. She took her time to answer my questions and address my concerns. What was also great, is that I was able to email her with additional questions and she answered in a timely manner. Jennifer has a down to earth way of explaining things. She's also very friendly and thorough. Would definitely recommend her.

She helped to solve a problem with a troublesome scar that no other dermatologist has been able to solve. She was very committed to my care and even took the time to follow up to ask how I felt. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Sbicca! I just switched to her after seeing another dermatologist for years. She spent so much time with me going over my treatment. She answered all of my questions throughly and even followed up with me the next day, which my previous dermatologist never did. I’m looking forward to my next visit (not something I’d ever think I’d say about going to the dermatologist)!

I have had hand dermatitis for over 25 years and have been seen by several Dermatologists who simply wanted to give me steroid creams or a shot. Dr. Sbicca was the first who truly helped me. While on vacation, after being over exposed to the sun, she also called me to review my situation. She changed my life and I am said she left Kaiser as I wish i could see her again.

Agree with negative review above. Sbicca was condescending and disrespectful. Took me months to get an apptmt (Loveland) and when I finally met with her she scolded me for asking too many questions and pushed me out the door after 15 minutes. Said I was wasting the next patient’s time.

I felt like I was listened to, Dr. Sbicca was engaged, respectful and patiently explained what she was doing as she checked me. I have complete confidence in her!

I just love this staff at Loveland Kaiser..all are very professional and truly care for their patients.
