Dr. Jennifer Neria, MD

Dr. Neria was recommended to me by my previous Primary Physician who is not practicing anymore. The first few visits were ok. Unfortunately, I have had some health issues last year and I had a lot of questions for her. In my last 3-4 visits I had with Dr. Neria, she was visibly annoyed and extremely rude to me.She sarcastically asked where I received my medical degree when I told her Idid my research about certain medication. I am a black woman, and God is my witness she did not want me in her practice. I have never felt humiliated and degraded as a human being. I had secretly recorded our very last interaction that lasted 3: 28 minutes. I had my family and pastor listen to it and they were beyond outraged. I had to deal with my health and medical issues, I didnt have the time or the energy to invest to seek counsel from an attorney. As more medical disparities and discrimination is becoming prevalent against black woman, I felt obligated to share About my experience with Dr. Neria

I don’t usually write reviews for anything online, especially doctors, but feel like I need to share my (and my family’s) experiences with Dr. Jennifer Neria and her staff - especially Jorge. I am in my 60’s and have had many physicians in my lifetime. I have never found a doctor/practice with the combination of smarts, compassion, good humor, excellent follow through and follow up. Dr. Neria is a gem!

I'm relatively new patient, but can highly recommend Dr. Neria and her staff. They're amazingly responsive and helpful - Really listen to patient issues and give best care.

II believe this woman may be bi-polar? I've only seen her 3 times over the past several months (looking for new Doc). First visit was great. Second visit was like an assembly line. Third visit was SO DISGUSTING ... I'm still fuming by the way she treated me - dismissing me to be another Dr's problem. She wants me to have 4 different doctors for about 9 meds? My PCP should be PRIMARY EX: She wants me to continue seeing a pain mgmt Dr for Gabapentin. Why? It's not even a scheduled drug???

Truly an amazing doctor, the best one I have ever had. Compassionate, does not rush through an appointment, attentive, great listener, extremely knowledgeable, you feel like being treated by a family member. You will never find a better one - trust me.

I have been a patient of Dr Neria for several years, starting with her years at Fair Oaks Family Practice. I've always been impressed at how much she seems to care for me, as not just another patient, but she shows her personalized caring at each office visit.

Best doctor I've ever had, by far and away. While I no longer see her due to moving from the area, she was outstanding in every interaction I had in the three years she was my physician. She always talked to me like I was a person - not a subject, which had been all my prior experiences - and was thorough enough to notice an issue that other doctors had ignored for years (while ultimately benign, she referred me to a surgeon that treated me perfectly). I cannot recommend her highly enough.
