I had a similarly unpleasant experience with her. First of all, after being 30 mins late .... she was busy asking about my accent and why I still have it after living in the US for 16 years ( which just shows that she knows nothing about second language acquisition... ) She never examined my son other than looking at the pictures I showed her on my phone. How do you diagnose someone without examining them ?????? I wasn't able to ask enough questions and I wasn't pushy enough.... on the spot... but I went home and checked online and talked to many people ... and I am 100% sure she misdiagnosed my son. I am thinking about contacting her again... or just simply going to another specialist. It is not at all what I would expect from a SPECIALIST.

Our experience was unpleasant. The Dr did was very unorganized, apathetic, and unfortunately not as educated as I'd expect a specialist to be. She was completely unwilling to address the underlying issue. I am not sure if she was not listening or did not understand most of what I said. After discussing my concerns with her "Band-Aid" (& possible dependency) type of treatment plan, I didn't get much back. The only positive I have to add is that she at least referred us on to another specialist :/
