Dr McCallum is professional and knowledgeable. I had questions and didn’t feel rushed and she answered all questions clearly. I was not given unnecessary tests. Scheduling was easy and accommodating. My follow up for test results was a tele-health appointment which saved me from a long drive back to her office. I had a good experience

Fantastic Doctor
Dr. McCallum is a fantastic doctor. I have been going to her for over 12 years and she has always been professional and friendly. She is very knowledgeable and always answers any questions and explains my treatment options. I see her twice a year and her office staff is very pleasant and promptly takes me to an exam room within 5 to 10 minutes of my arrival. I would not hesitate to recommend her to my family and friends should they need a rheumatologist.

Does not seem knowledgeable about the field she is licensed in AEB lack of testing, inability to provide diagnosis after 6 yrs of office visits and lab, inability to correlate test results with specific diseases, contradicts herself often,, no tx plan provided. Rude AEB continually talking over patient, speaking rapidly, does not ask questions, in clinic only 2 days a week, nurse is also rushed, didn't allow me to finish health hx paperwork. Dr now wants to send me on to a diff specialist in diff field. Why? I do not know. I don't trust her professional judgement and wondering if she needs to take some more classes. I definitely do not recommend this doctor.

I’m a Lupus patient. I’ve had lupus for over 25 years. I saw her for the first time in October… I had all my medical records sent to her from my previous rheumatologist in Chapel Hill North Carolina was in need of a re-classed infusion and she did everything she could to have me get it done that same day I was there so I didn’t have to come back! I was happy with my visit. We will see how my second visit goes whenever I need her.

Unfortunately Dr McCallum does not understand or seem to care the extreme pain associated with rheumatic disease. She is not at all compassionate but on a practical level she dismissed my complaints. The treatment plan she prescribed did little to help my RA. Bottom line is she chose the wrong area of expertise. I ultimately changed to a new doctor and I’m much happier and healthier now.

This doctor has to be one of the worst I have seen. When I did not show a rheumalogic illness I was dismissed. None of my questions got answered and she did not go over any of my tests. A long wait for a worthless doctor.

My PCP made an appointment for me with Dr McCallum six months ago. Shortly after, I received paperwork to fill out & got a call asking for insurance info - Medicare. The day before my appt, I called to confirm & they informed me that my appointment had been canceled because I had already seen a rheumatologist for elevated ANA (over 2 years ago). All this time, I have been in pain but hopeful knowing this appointment was coming up, for nothing

I have been seeing Dr. McCallum for 8 years and have been very unhappy with her treatment of my conditions for about 6 out of those 8 years.I kept seeing her hoping things would get better, but they have just gotten considerably worse. She's only in office 2 days a week, she has failed to attend to many of my needs many times, she doesn't do x-rays or tests as needed, she rushes, she walks out when I am still talking and I have to finish talking to her in the hall. FED UP!! Looking for a new Dr!
