Dr McBride has been my mothers doctor for years and for the most part she was not that bad of a provider but there have been a few times that my mom hasn’t been able to make her appointments due to her not driving herself and having to wait on rides. But the few times that my mom has missed her appointments right before she supposed to get her pain meds filled every month. Dr. McBride will drastically cut them from what they originally were and it feels like it is retaliation for her, not showing up to the appointment my mom doesn’t like to stir the pot, but I cannot stand to see her in pain. She has been on this dosage in this medication for over 20 years. I don’t know if anyone else has this problem with her. I don’t know if it is racially motivated or simply because she’s upset that she didn’t come to the appointment but I do know she’s not doing this to help my mother or better her health. Also there have been multiple occasions, almost back to back months, where she won’t send her meds in on time, and she is out of them and off of them for days at a time because her doctor “forgot“. She also hasn’t tried to work with my mom and getting telehealth appointments or anything else knowing that my mother cannot drive herself. I don’t know if there is a way for someone to look into what she is doing, but someone should.
