I saw Dr Ligibel for a year and am currently in the process of transferring my care to another doctor at DFCI. I have found Dr Ligibel stressful to work with. It was difficult to acquire clear and consistent information from the doctor. Over time I found I didn’t trust the doctor and the information she was giving me.

Dr Ligibel is an incredibly intelligent, and kind physician. She saw my in daughter in consultation and was incredibly warm and reassuring about my daughter's situation. We came away from our visit with enormous confidence in our current treatment plan. I feel lucky that we have been able to work closely with Dr Ligibel.

I went to Dr. Ligibel with an aggressive case of IBC and had total confidence in her from the start. She is a sympathetic listener but also kindly firm in advising about the best protocol. Her continual availability to answer questions, along with her consummate expertise in her field, provided the needed backdrop to both treat and cure my breast cancer. I was willing to be as aggressive with my treatment as she recommended, and it proved to be a winning combination! 14 years cancer free!
