Dr. Jennifer Lewey, MD

I was just diagnosed with diabetes and was under Dr. Lewey's care. Upon discharge, she sent me home with an incomplete prescription (no needles for my insulin). She should be investigated for malpractice or negligence

If I could give Dr. Lewey 0 stars I would. For someone who works in a nursing home setting, she appears to have zero interest in her patients well being and comfort at the end of their lives. She discharged medications cold turkey that are not supposed to be stopped without tapering, or we’re not supposed to be stopped at all. She would not sign orders in a timely manner, causing undue pain and suffering to her patients. She never responded to questions, emails, phone calls, would not attend care conferences, etc. If you have a loved one under her care, I highly suggest finding a nurse practitioner who does care about your family member, or make sure to check your family members orders and medications on a regular basis.

Not a patient oriented doctor. She does not listen to patient concerns or address issues identified in lab work.
