Dr. Jennifer Hecht was my surgeon after my breast cancer diagnosis. She was very compassionate and professional on planning the treatment to follow. I couldn't be any more satisfied with her and all the professionals that provided the best possible care during this difficult journey.

DCIS- w margin just over 2in. Dr did exam, showed paper of options - and expected choice as I sat there! Said 2in is abt max for lump, over- she does mast. Due to age, she said no plastic surgeon will reconstruct. I nd more info. Mast seems radical. She said make appt after MRI to see options. After MRI, tech said dr will prbly call that day or next. Was 7 days, calls from me before she called - results were same as mammo. Again I felt she wanted decision while on phone! I said not ready to go so extreme; I asked for plastic surgeon visit. I did not like Dr Hecht - she was distant and it was very hard to get info to make a decision. I was lost. When I asked questions, I felt she was frustrated, that I slowed her down and she couldn’t move on. Wonderful results w other surgeon! 1.5in slight scar. Starting w a bad doctor, I went thru a lot of stress that changed my path forward. W a capable dr I would’ve had trust, surgery sooner. I am sad for women who lost their breasts to Dr Hecht.

Very personable. Professional in the exam and explains all aspects of treatment.

Dr Hect not only answered all my questions but thoroughly detailed what would happen before, during and after surgery and set up a Sozos reading to be sure we monitored my lymph nodes for lymphodema in the future to keep me from having that happen. She and her office think of everything and she helped me find a great reconstruction surgeon. I can not say enough great things about her.

Dr. Hecht is an amazing and caring doctor.. she has empathy and sympathy like no other. she made me extremely at ease and it has been a long time since I have felt so at ease with a doctor. I also appreciate her being genuine.

Everything was very organized, did not have to wait past my appointment. Nurse took my vitals. Everything was good. Nurse said Dr. Hecht would be right in. Less than five minuteDr. Hecht came in examine me, and took the time to ask if I had any questions. She talk with me and I was very satisfied

She is kind and has time to listen to my concerns. She is thorough and lease out all your options and walks you through them so that you feel comfortable.

I have a lot of respect for Dr. Hecht. She is not only good at what she does, but she is a good person and communicates well with those she is treating. Her staff is good at what they do as well.
