Dr. Jennifer Galbraith, DO

Took my daughter to the ER. This doctor was very rude and demeaning. When we said the diagnosis we thought it was (because we have had it before), she was dismissive and uncaring. Later came back to acknowledge that it was the suspected diagnosis that we had mentioned upon admission. Very passive aggressive. Upset when we expressed we were “uncomfortable with the treatment plan”. She became very defensive and told us her credentials and her experience when that had nothing to do with the patient’s plan of care. Did not work to address nor resolve concerns. Did not ask us what would make us more comfortable nor ask why we weren’t in agreement. Raised her voice and became clearly emotional about our questioning the treatment instead of simply explaining the rationale for the treatment. Most unpleasant provider experience ever. When we left, my child asked why that doctor was so angry. That should never happen in a patient care setting especially in an emergency care setting.
