Dr. Jennifer Axe, MD

Thought I was the only one who had not so great experiences with her. All my appointments with her were very rushed, she practically hung out by the door the entire appointment. After a very early miscarriage she claimed I was never pregnant to begin with because I didn't test positive in the office, despite 6 tests at home. After I got pregnant again any time I asked questions she would be dismissive and tell me things weren't important, like the size and position of my baby at 32 weeks. She told me I wouldn't be getting any more ultrasounds. At my next appointment with a different dr, I was told to have another ultrasound which resulted in us finding out my baby was breech and I would need a csection. I was just informed she is no longer at the practice I go to and I am thankful my care and my baby's care aren't in the hands of someone who doesn't seem to care of think anything is important.

Unknowledgeable and does not care about patients. She started me on 100 mg of a drug, and I spent the entire day vomiting. She claimed I had the flu. I found out from my PCP that people usually start at 37.5 mg, not 100. Later, when I needed to reschedule an appointment but she had no availability before my prescription ran out, she refused to give me a refill even though there are dangerous side effects to quitting the drug abruptly instead of tapering off. I will never go back to her.

As previously stated she is very, sometimes too bubbly but do not let that fool you. She will not give you a direct answer to any question. Gives you the run around. I saw her three times and after the last appointment and bad experience in the room, I said that is it. Currently seeking another doctor.

I have been seeing Dr. Axe for a couple of years on occasion and very often these past several months due to my pregnancy. She will be delivering my baby. I have a lot of questions for her and she has been very informative. She does run behind and I've had to wait anywhere from 10 min to over an hour, but I also have more patience than most and I realize Dr's do run behind. She is very pleasant and upbeat. I would recommend her.

Dr. Jennifer Lynn Axe is the type of person who became a doctor for the money; not because she cares about helping people. Anytime you ask her a question she obviously doesn't know the answer to, she'll first try to be dismissive with you, and if you push back, she will say something that sounds as if she is reciting a sentence from out of a book. My wife and I have seen her about 6 times. She is extremely bubbly, and sounds happy go lucky, but she is very pretentious, and she doesn't care.

Does not care about her patients. Isn't very knowledgeable. Will have you wait in the exam room or almost an hour only to spend less than 10 minutes with you.

She was awesome! Answered all my questions and helped me feel comfortable before having an urgent type procedure on the same day itself.

Not very knowledgeable whatsoever. Has no confidence and poor bedside manner.
