Dr. Jemie Walrod, MD

Dr. Walrod has been my PCP for multiple years now and she helped me diagnose multiple chronic conditions as a younger woman. After the onset of a major flare, she diagnosed me within several months which is not the typical experience. I think she’s doing the best she can in a medical system that is overburdened, dizzying to navigate and often times genuinely hostile to human welfare, and I’ve always felt heard and taken seriously by her so I feel lucky that I ended up in her care.

Dr. Walrod should 100% have her license taken away. I would not recommend her to my worst enemy. My ex-husband was hospitalized for 3 months, followed by a nursing facility for 3 months and then Dr. Walrod became his primary care doctor. On the first appointment she stated she only had 15 minutes to see us so I should pick the 2 most important questions to ask. She has provided the worst medical care I have witnessed in my 36 years of life. She is mean, rude, condescending and genuinely does not care about her patients. She is beyond difficult to get ahold of and I feel genuinely horrible for anyone who's insurance basically forces them to see her. It is absolutely deplorable that she has a medical license.
