10 yr patient and still pleased
Being a 10 yr. patient of Dr. Bucan-Kurepa's I have seen a lot, and mind you, her office is a busy which indicates what they're doing is right. At times yes, you'll feel it, she may forget at times because she is human, however, I wouldn't leave the office, the staff, nor their awesome portal if you paid me. Dr. Bucan-Kurepa is a very caring person and will provide the time needed to express concerns, along with finding the right interventions that is appropriate and affective. Her office staff works well together, like a team ought to, and although it may be take a minute or two to get through on the phone, a smarter move is to use the portal because the information is sent directly to the assigned providers. Anyone looking for a provider that is caring, thoughtful, and will give the time needed to hear real concerns, then I believe you will be content with this provider and her team. Her long standing practice affords her to make great referrals when need as well.

The worse experience ever with a doctor office
I went for a women's wellness check to see Dr. Kurepa at USDM Flower Mound. On The first appointment, they left me waiting in a room, naked, wrapped in a paper gown, for an hour. After the hour, a nurse apologized and said that they no longer would be able to do the women's wellness check since the person in charge of taking the specimen to the lab had left, and they asked me to come back another day. Patiently, I dressed up and made the appointment for another day. I went back a week after, again they left me waiting in a room, naked, wrapped in a paper gown, for an hour. This time the doctor came. She apologizes; I forgot the situation and let the doctor do her job. I asked for a referral to see a specialist and had bloodwork done the same day. A week has passed, and I have called multiple times asking for my blood work result and the status of my referral. And neither the blood work nor referral appears in my chart. The worse experience ever with a doctor's office.

Dr Bucan Kurepa was attentive, gave me all the time I needed to ask questions. Her answers were precise with explanations that were easy to understand. I feel better having received her perspective on the issues I had discussed with her.

This is a good doctor with a terrible staff. They never return phone calls. I had a cat scan done in May. Finally had to go back to the hospital to get my results because the nursing staff had no record of it. It's very sad because she is a good doctor but a doctor is only as good as her staff. Patients need follow-up care. Think twice before you go to the practice and never go to the physians assistant. Her nurse is the worst!

She has been my sister's primary for several years. She doesn't respond back and her staff lies and doesn't respond either. She now takes care of my elderly mother and the care is terrible. She has absolutely no follow up care. I would never pick her as a doctor.

I like Dr Bucan .She spends plenty of time answering questions.I really don't like their office don't call you for your lab result and you have to follow up with them and it takes long time to get the results...I am a diabetic patient and i feel that they are not talking things seriously... They needs better support from her assistant(s)...

I really like Dr. Bucan. She always answers any questions and spends plenty of time with me. My only complaint is follow-up. It can take a few calls to the office to get a prescription refilled or to get questions answered. I suspect she needs better support from her assistant(s).
