Would NOT recommend
Misdiagnosed skin cancer and had no empathy or concern for the patient experience. I am both a patient and employee of Vanderbilt and brought the misdiagnosis to the department's attention. Dr. Zwerner was extremely rude and clearly was never coached on how to respond to a Patient Relations concern. This damages Vanderbilt's reputation and mission for personalized care. For your health and safety, I would NOT recommend this physician.

I don’t understand the few bad reviews. We had an excellent experience with Dr. Zwerner and look for to seeing him and Dr. Jadeja in the future.

I do not understand any low stars for this doctor. I have a long list of illnesses explaining my experience with a long list of physicians and Dr Zwerner is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. He is extremely knowledge- able as you would expect from a doctor at Vanderbilt. But most of all, he cares about you, listens and explains in easy understandable way. He is so kind, friendly and frankly, is so happy that I always leave there in better mood than when I arrived. Due to my aggressive skin cancer, I see him every 3 months for skin check plus procedure visits for last 6 years NOT once was I unhappy with his services. I have referred people to him in past and each time they were very happy and they continue to see him today. Sometimes it can take a few weeks to get an appointment but that is out of his control and has to do with Vanderbilt staffing and Nashville residency increase. I Highly Recommend him - you will not be disappointed.

I have seen Dr. Zwerner several times. He has been caring and kind and has taken the time needed to explain things to me in great detail. I would highly recommend him!

I have been under the care of a wonderful dermatologist for about 40 years. I have also been diagnosed with melanoma. My dermatologist retired and I moved to Nashville. When trying to schedule an appointment I explained why I wanted to see a doctor that wasn't a resident. Because I had melanoma I wanted to see the same Dr. every year an the residents change. I was scheduled with Dr. Zwerner in three months. He spent approximately 5 minutes examining me. Told me to come back in a year.
