Dr. Jeffrey Wenger, MD

Dr. Wenger listened to every question I had and answered them all. He also wrote down everything I had to do to help me with my issues. He performed a colonoscopy and showed me a picture of my procedure. He is extremely personable and very sweet!!!

Colonoscopy 100% Covered by Insurance. Not so WPB Office says it covered but do not tell you the Visit before you get the procedure which is mandatory is not covered by most Insurances as its considered a straight office visit and it carries a hefty charge. Just letting everyone know ahead of time.

If you were ever concerned about having a colonoscopy don’t be ! Dr Wegner and his amazing nursing staff ensure you are comfortable and get the best care from the moment you walk in. The procedure is seamless. Additionally he and his team took excellent care of my husband and identified his CDIF where our GP couldn’t. Thanks to Dr Wegner and his team my husband received the right treatment .

My father, who is also a physician and surgeon, was treated with total disregard, apathy and lack of respect during several visits that the last straw was a scheduled procedure. Jeffrey screamed at my father for asking a routine question that any board certified physician and office staff would know. Jeffrey also refused to make eye contact or ask appropriate questions. He did not even touch my father during an exam (what doctor conducts a physical exam without touching??). The attitude changed when my father identified himself as a doctor but it should not take identifying a profession to be treated better. I highly suggest finding a different physician with better bedside manners and able to treat all patients with respect and dignity.

I've been a patient of Dr. Wenger's since he started practicing over thirty years ago and I would never go to another GI physician! Jeffrey Wenger is one of the most compassionate doctors I've ever known. A few weeks ago, I was rushed to Good Sam Hospital with SBO, in so much pain I don't remember being taken from the ER to the unit, and Dr. Wenger was right there when I opened my eyes the next morning and every morning except two and his assistant Kristin attended me then. It was important to both that I understood exactly what was happening and what I needed to do. Great doctor, great staff, great follow-up! I'm blessed he's been my doctor all these years!

This is one of the worst practices. I am a health care professional with parents who are 90. Dr wenger treated my mother post acute SBO(small bowel obstruction). After sending her for some tests no one called her. My parents repeatedly called the office and dealt with rude office staff. My mother to this date, one week later, still has no idea how to progress her diet. No follow up information given. No patient education.

Horrible office staff. Phone rarely answered, messages to call back are never answered. When someone does answer, they talk extremely rapidly and then switch the call to someone else, who doesn't answer. I will never set foot in that office again.

I have been a patient for well over 20 years and find Dr Wenger and his entire staff to be consistently efficient, professional and above all compassionate towards the patient. he is extremely personable which puts me at ease!

First-rate gastroenterologist who definitely cares about his patients.

Dr. Wenger is a great doctor he has your medical needs always first. Dr. Wenger listens to your concerns and problems you are experiencing. A very friendly office staff. He makes you feel at ease. I would recommend him to anyone in fact I have. Want a caring Dr. Dr. Wenger is your doctor.

I am Gale Dozier and I am very scared due to many bad experiences for both me and my husband. I am allergic to many meds due to an overdose out of state . I had seen Dr. Wenger for my first colonoscopy and it went great. I then went to him in July 2016 and he listened carefully to my concerns and removed 2 polyps. I am going back to because of extreme weight loss. His door is always opened, He cares, He is compassionate and the best Dr. I have ever had in my life. I am a 63 yr old female.

A first-rate gastro, you can't find a nicer guy. I was in GoodSam w/ the same symptoms for condition (bowel) 14 months prior. I had a CT daily for 5 days.'Radiology's reported: nothing wrong. As a longtime patient, I rang his office to explain the situation. He came up (on a Saturday, no less), heard my symptoms, went down to Radiology to review the scans. I was in the OR within the hour! Dr D. Kurtz operated, wrapping mesh around intestines so I won't develop adhesions again.
