Angel on Earth
Dr. Velez is so friendly, well spoken, and intelligent. I can’t say that I’ve ever had a doctor quite like him. I felt in good hands and able to fully trust him, going into a biopsy that I wasn’t thrilled to be having. All good news at my appointment, which was the icing on the cake. I really felt like this man was an angel during my appointment with him!

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Velez at MetroWest Medical Center. I was extremely nervous but Dr. Velez was very calming. He was professional, knowledgeable, gentle and kind. His assistant Dan also gave me exceptional care. Thank you again, Dr. Velez and Dan.

I have had two needle biopsy's now on my thyroid nodules. Dr. Velez is highly professional and explains everything to you thoroughly. He is very personable and puts you right at ease. I would recommend him without hesitation.

I was extremely nervous to have a thyroid biopsy, and I am so grateful Dr. Velez was my doctor. He explained everything, was extremely personable and human, was patient with my questions, and even made me laugh! His assistant at Leonard Morse, Allissa, was also wonderful. I hope I never have to do this again, but if I do, I would not want to see anyone except Dr. Velez!

On May 2 2018 I went to FMC for the very 1st time in my life. The BEST experience ever! Dr Velez is a true professional, kind, caring, empathetic, and took the time to explain the athrigram procedure to my shoulder prior to a cat scan, step by step. I'm truly grateful to him and nurse Gabby! Thanks for the care.

This man is truly the gold standard in his field. I was with Dr. Velez for a biopsy of a potentially infected disc in my lower back. A truly awful procedure that only Dr. Velez could have made bearable. The second was a PICC line placement and he did a phenomenal job. I was in almost no discomfort during or after the procedure. He knows what he is doing, is genuinely kind, and I was so lucky to be in his care, He explained absolutely everything he was doing. A truly one of a kind doctor.

Dr. Velez performed a Thyroid Biopsy on me today. He is without a doubt the best physician I have interacted with over the years. He is informed, friendly, efficient, and acted as a true professional. I have a Ph.D. in Medical Physiology with a specialization in Sports Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh. I would recommend him to anyone!
