My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Jeff Turk for 17 years. He is an exceptional and thorough doctor. Yes, the wait time can be long, but that is because he doesn't rush when he talks and examines you when it's your turn. It's one thing if you wait long only to be rushed back out. I leave Dr. Turk feeling heard and understood. He makes sure to address my concerns and explain why he thinks this or that. He doesn't brush off or minimize your medical concerns. He is not afraid to order tests, but will not order unnecessary tests. Honestly, I don't like to brag about Dr. Jeff because I don't want him to be overwhelmed with patients and then rush me during my appointments with him.

Incorrect Billing of Visits
We’re on a high-deductible health plan, which only pays for preventative care until deductibles are met. So we scheduled these visits for our sons as physical exams, since they were due for them and they weren’t having any health problems. Dr. Turk, however, doesn’t bill our appointments as physicals – which leaves us getting billed each time for an office visit! My wife was there for one visit, and Dr. Turk asked for the purpose of the visit. She said, “We're here for a physical only. We don’t want to discuss anything else.” But our son simply asked him if his back looked straight, and he talked quite a while about backs and recommended X-rays. Even though nothing else was asked, his office doubled billed our insurance – once for a “Prev Visit new” at $360 and once for an “Office O/P New” at $300, for a total of $660. We called their office weeks ago regarding coding mistakes on their billing, but didn't hear back from them. Centura Billing also hasn't been helpful in resolving this.

Dr. Turk is a very patient, knowledgeable, and kind physician. He spends ample time explaining medical conditions and concerns. I feel extremely blessed to have him as a doctor for my children.

Literally every appointment is at least a 1 hour wait in the waiting room waiting for Dr. Turk! Every single time. That is a ridiculously long time to make a patient wait with a fussy baby who needs a nap but can’t sleep in the waiting room. Then once we’ve waited for an hour, Dr. Turk comes in and talks for 45 mins to an hour. Then we wait even longer for MA’s to come in and administer shots. The wait time is unacceptable and it is becoming quite unbearable. These appointments end up being close to 3 hours long.

ALWAYS WAITING AT LEAST AN HOUR FOR DR. SO APPOINT – May 28, 2020

Our experience with Dr. Turk was awesome! My husband had a doctor for years, that had retired, and then every subsequent doctor would move on or retire. He had a lot going on and nobody to manage a large amount of medications and diagnosis. I feared that he was taking medication that he didn't need and that there were so many side affects causing more issues. Dr. Turk welcomed his complex situation and was excited for the challenge. So grateful!

went in for a yearly physical he demanded a visit 2 days in advance of my REAL appointment he talked about vitamin B12 this little trick cost me and my insurance $423.00 my out of pocket cost me $277.94. Here is the important fact he received my complete medical history 2 months in advance. And during my physical the second visit he didn’t do a prostate exam instead he drew a picture of the Prostate and how he can’t tell anything. Funny thing is all other do give Prostate exams he didn’t check for hernia or even skin moles nothing a total fraud. He ordered a whole bunch of needless blood test just to jack up the price. All I can say if you want someone drain your hard earned money Dr. Turk is your man.

I've been with Dr Turk for about 6 years and though I've never had any life threatening issues I find him extremely attentive, considerate and thorough in his approach. I would highly recommend him. I've lived in a few different countries with different doctors and he is by far the best.

My daugther in law (mother's daughter) went to see Dr. Turk after being highly recommended and he missed a brain tumor despite the child having vision issues. Luckily we left Parker Adventist and went to Skyridge Hospital last year where they made the diagnosis and operated on her, saving her life. Highly recommend you avoid this doctor, says all the nice things, but clearly knows very little.

Ran an hour late, took very little time with me, and then prescribed a medication I was allergic too that the pharmacist caught or else I could have died. I will never see this provider or go to Centura Health again.
