I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Newman's office from start to finish. It was easy to make a fast appointment. I waited very little time to see the doctor once in the office. The office staff was very pleasant.  My surgery was scheduled with ease through Holly, who returned all of calls quickly. Dr. Newman and his nurse practitioner (Noel), were always present during my 6 day hospital stay. I was extremely happy with my decision to use Dr. Newman and his staff for my Thymus mass removal. A great experience from beginning to end!

He was rushed, spoke over the patient's questions in a condescending tone, and belittled a person's emotional upset after a procedure gone wrong. He may be a good surgeon, but he has so much to learn in speaking to patients without a sarcastic rude tone.

Dr Newman is a good surgeon however he gave me maybe 2 minutes of his time after my husbands surgery & that was it! Family friendly he is not. Jackie in his office is rude ... they need to be more understanding of their patients families needs as well. And yeah talk to the family please!

We had the good fortune of Dr Newman being hubby's cardiac surgeon during his heart emergency! Hubby went to urgent care thinking he had the flu and ended up with a triple bypass, value repair and a Coax Maze. We could not be happier with how things turned out or with the kindness and great care that Dr Newman and Staff provided. A +++++ and we highly recommend.

Dr Newman is incredible. He is everything that one might expect a heart surgeon to be... truly a heart/ thoracic specialist with a HEART of his own for his patients. He makes himself so visible and I accessible, that truly his profession is his life.... beyond just dedication. I think that he truly loves what he does and his competency and compassion for patients and their families is outstanding.

Dr. Jeffrey Newman is a life saver. I had my double valve repair surgery by Dr. Newman. Thank G-D I was one of the luckiest patients! I owe my life to this brilliant man. He held my hand and reassured me and explained everything to me. He always came into check my incisions every day with a smile! I visited other doctors prior and was just not happy. He gave me a second chance at life! Hospice was ready to sign me up to die,twice. This man saved my life completely 05/28/201 I was only 58 yrs old

A month ago tomorrow, out of the blue after finishing my workout, i felt lightheaded and sweaty. The next thing I know is Im lying on the floor of the gym having a heart attack, and needed immediate emergency triple bypass open heart surgery. Dr. Newman came up from Miami immediately and performed the surgery. No exaggeration, two days later i was walking without assistance, my scar is healing up with no problems, i now am doing a half hour on the treadmill. Dr. Newman did a superlative job.

Dr. Newman is a wonderful doctor, explains the procedures and takes his time to answer your questions. Also his office staff is great will always call you back when you call with a question for the doctor. Very well run office.
