My teen had a sports boxer's fracture. I can't describe how bad the treatment was except to say I could have done better in my garage. Jeff failed to effectively perform "closed reduction" and this resulted in my son's hand healing at more than 45 degree angle. When questioned about it Jeff became very defensive and belligerent. He said it would straighten up because "his growth plates were not closed". I took my son to a hand specialist and they couldn't believe it. Still bad 6 yrs later!

His unwillingness to listen and lack of concern for my daughter and her ongoing problems led us to switch doctors. He insisted that she was fine although her symptoms continued to worsen. Ultimately, another orthopedic surgeon determined that there were multiple issues that could only be corrected w/ surgical intervention. We have a lengthy history with this practice and the other physicians in this group were great. However, I would never return to Dr. Mikutis and would never recommend him.
