Great doctor, very friendly and knowledgeable. Explained everything in details. Highly recommended

I went through a grueling 4 months of chemo. Then a double mastectomy, radiation and Dr. Jeff was there every step of the way he was personable and awesome

My father was ultimately diagnosed with Cancer to late to be cured. But, although we did not like everything Dr. Margolis said we valued his opinions and his effort to stop other doctors treating my father in hospital situations from performing procedures that would have that would have offered little to no therapeutic value. After meeting with the hospice people recommended by Dr. Margolis I called his office to inquire as to his thoughts about the medical drains hospice wanted to place permanently before he left the hospital and left a message for Sara his medical assistant…it was over 24 hours before the receptionist called back and said they needed more details about what my question was before anyone could call me back. I told her he passed while we were waiting for a response and she told me I should have asked my questions more concisely if I wanted someone to call. I guess it’s my fault they don’t return calls. Thanks for Nothing!!

Dr. Margolis not only has great credentials, he is also a caring Dr. Which is what cancer patients need. However his front desk staff could use some socialization skills. After my radiation I called to make an appt with Dr. Margolis before I started my medication. The person that answered the phone argued with me that I have 6 weeks of Chemo Treatment. Finally, she would not back down, So I asked to have the PA or NP call me. Another receptionist called back to tell me I was right. DUH!. No apology at all. For some patients that may be confused on their treatment that could of been a terrible conversation.

Dr Jeffrey Margolis is your best bet in SE MI when you have been diagnosed with cancer. You may have to wait a bit during your appointment time but your life and health are worth it. Bring a hobby, book or IPad to keep you busy.

Like dr Margolis but front staff is terrible

While I would highly recommend Dr. Margolis, I have been continually disappointed with the receptionists. I have found them to be extremely rude, as if I am taking up their time. I have stood at the check out, had a receptionist look at me, and then proceed to pick up the phone to make a call without ever telling me that she will be with me in a moment. I have been going to this office for 10 months and it is always like this. I have also waited up to 2 hours for a 20 minute treatment.

Dr. Margolis and his staff are caring, knowledgeable, professional and the tops in my book- I wouldn't go to anyone else. They scheduled me very quickly and I started chemo within 2 weeks of my diagnosis. My latest CAT looks very good, and they work with me to keep the chemo side affects manageable.
