Dr. Jeffrey Lombardo, MD

While the ER was extremely busy when I arrived, Dr. Lombardo was friendly and professional. He took the time to explain the procedure we were going to have to perform.

Very thorough and caring. Ordered specific tests. Reported results as soon as they came in. Wish every doctor in ER was this quick and thorough.

Dr Lombardo is thorough and the staff works well together.

The thing that stood out about Dr. Lombardo was that he did not care. He walked away in mid-conversation. My partner was in terrible pain with a fever of 102, throat infection, and an extreme headache that had persisted for 9 hours, and he would not treat him except for acetaminophen (which we'd already taken) and antibiotics, which did not treat the throat or head pain. The guy next door was screaming for a shot, which he received. Lombardo was condescending, rude, and very likely racist. The nurses apologized to us for the care we could not receive because Lombardo elected not to treat his pain. He clearly wanted my partner to suffer. On Lombardo's worst day, I absolutely wish him the same level of care he provided my partner.

This guy is one of the worst people I've ever encountered. When asked, "What can you do to treat X without prescribing Y, since that would affect my kidneys and I've been advised by my nephrologist not to take Y," he answered that he would only prescribe Y. When asked what he gives a patient who cannot take Y, he said he would prescribe Y. He did this 6 times. He raised his voice and was combative. Eventually, a nurse had to intervene because he is so poor at communicating and practicing medicine. We walked out of the ER with a pain level of 10 and a fever of 102 degrees that had been sustained over 5 hours. I have never in my 45 years ever been treated so condescendingly or rudely. He should never practice medicine.
