Dr. Jeffrey Leavy, MD

Dr. Leavy is a great Cardiologist. He is knowledgeable, attentive and efficient with a regular guy personality . I enjoy my visits with him.

It was very productive. He's very caring, has a since of humor, professional andtreats his patients with the upmost respect and attention.

Dr Jeffrey Leavy always explains, in layman’s terms, his analysis and his instructions to help me get better. I always leave my appointments with a positive attitude, knowing that, by following Dr Leavy’s instructions, I will soon return to excellent health.

He was very afable and reassuring on my visit. Answered all my questions and explained in a very understandable way my condition.

My appointment went well. There wasn't a long wait in the waiting room nor the exam room. Dr. Leave is very thorough with aspects of the visit everytime.

He had reviewed all recent hospital records, was aware of changes in condition, had given consideration to medication regime, considered totality of circumstances. Gave seasoned advice for follow-up.

Really listened to what was going on before deciding the best treatment. Gave lots of options.

ER had me follow up at the heart house after extremely high blood pressure. Made my appointment, assigned to Dr Leavy. During our brief visit, he picked up a pen and held it up. He said “see this pen? You don’t look like this”. I think his comment about my weight could and should have be handled more professionally. He seemed bored throughout the visit and I left feeling uneasy staying with Heart House. And unfortunately, I was warned about Heart House and their lack of professionalism and their push to have tests , ablation that were not necessary. I’m moving on,

My husband was admitted for a Fib. Dr Leavy answered any questions we had and was very professionally. He is now our Family Cardiologist. He tells it the way it is

I completely agree his attitude is cold an offensive. Great description. I had the unfortunate interaction with him when he was the on call Dr for HH. I would not trust this man with my dog.

Has attitude was offensive. Cold, and not receptive to my asking questions regarding a necessary procedure.

The Heart House should examine how Jeffrey A. Leavy treats patients. After a failed stress test, he discussed results saying it looked like the front 2 arteries were blocked 90%. I asked if a cardiac cath was urgent. His reply: Some do, some don't. I wanted to learn which of their cardiologists did cardiac caths at Cooper. He miserably replied, "why do I want to know?" I could go on, but don't recommend this doctor. I left knowing to take care of myself. By the way my anterior was blocked 100%.

Dr. Leavy listens when you ask him a question and responds with a real answer that you may not want to hear. He tells you the way it is. I trust him with my life, you are in good hands.
