Very through!
This was my first visit to Dr. Ksiazek. He listened to my issues, gave a very through examination and detailed explanations of the findings. I will definitely continue to be a patient!

Very dismissive
I had a septoplasty done a few years ago and I kept going in to tell him that I feel severe discomfort and he kept telling me it’s all in my head. He makes the patient think they are crazy. Fast forward two years later and now I still have discomfort and there is a lot of scar tissue inside my nose which bothers me every day.

Dismissive & Indifferent
A pediatric ENT found thyroid nodules when I was 17 and I needed to see an adult provider to monitor them. I made an appt with Dr. Ksiazek and reported my history which included 3 nodules from my last ultrasound and a FNA biopsy. He rushed through the physical exam (he pressed down on a painful pressure point in the jaw area that seemed unnecessary and also amused him). He said he didn't feel any nodules and ended the appt after less than 5 minutes with no plan of care. I wanted a 2nd opinion and scheduled with an ENDO @ NWM who ordered a new ultrasound. 4 nodules were found, including 1 over a cm wide that was flagged as suspicious and another FNA biopsy ordered. I regret wasting my limited income on a $50 co-pay given his incompetence/clear indifference to my health. He could have ordered this imaging himself even if only to rule out the possibility for human error since I have a documented history of thyroid nodules. The most upsetting/dismissive experience I've had with a doctor.

Quickly and Painlessly Solved My Problem
Dr. Ksiazek did a great job of extracting cerumen quickly and painlessly. A previous visit a few weeks before to a PCP for the same issue was painful and unsuccessful. He has a good bedside manner and put me completely at ease.

Well that was a waste of time
I went in for chronic ear pain, and swollen salivary glands. The 5-second examination revealed there was "nothing wrong with my ears, and my PCP was completely wrong." The Dr. has the bedside manner of a pet rock and acted like he couldn't care less about any of my concerns (making me feel like I was imagining it all). Amazing that this person still has patients.

Dr. Ksiazek did not listen to me. He insisted I had a particular condition I told him I doubted very much it was and why. He proceeded to prescribe various medications and treatments, none of which helped. He then referred me to a specialist for what he said I had. A procedure under anesthesia finally confirmed it was a misdiagnosis.

I entered this office with the concern that I had a swollen lymph node for the last 2 months in my neck. I have been experiencing a decent amount of pain and discomfort in that area and my PCP referred me to an ENT after I saw them. My visit with Doctor K lasted about 3 minutes and I left with more concern than I entered with an absolutely no explanation. He said he didn't think that any of my lymph nodes were swollen at all and that the area that I had been experiencing the pain and discomfort was my jugular vein... He then saw me out leaving me to Google why my jugular would be swollen and painful. Now I'm about 10x more worried than when I entered his office and have no idea what is going on with my health.

Dr. Ksiazek is an absolutely wonderful E.N.T. he did both mine and my daughters tonsillectomies and we loved our entire experience with him. He listens and never makes you feel rushed explaining you issues. Even though he is with CDH and Delnor Hospital he was easy to schedule with. I highly recommend his Winfield location and CDH hospital.
