Extremely Poor office Practices
The office failed to inform me that they were not an in-net-work provider. Office staff is not trained on proper methodology for submitting insurance authorizations. The doctor failed to sign his office notes before leaving for a week so authorization for MRI could not be provided. The doctor may be excellent but office lacks basic management.

Dr. Kerina is an excellent surgeon and his staff is efficient and competent. My husband had a partial knee replacement and made a quick and relatively pain-free recovery. My life as a caregiver was made easier because of Dr. Kerina. He stays current on medical advances and is a caring person. (I don't know why this question on the site has "Dr. Taylor" in it. My review is for Dr. Jeffrey Kerina.

Excellent orthopedic surgeon. His experience and reputation put me right at ease and I felt confident in his ability to provide the best partial knee replacement. In fact, two years later Dr Kerina performed a partial knee replacement on my other knee. The office staff I s knowledgeable and efficient and all my follow up appointments were scheduled before surgery. PT was exceptional and my recovery was quick and relatively pain free. I was back into my daily water aerobics classes five weeks following surgery. I definitely recommend Dr Kerina and UNOVA for quality surgery and recovery. He is an outstanding orthopedic surgeon.

This is the most inefficient medical office I have ever experienced. 13 weeks ago Dr. Kerina performed my lateral knee replacement and I am still in pain. Dr. Kerina and the pain management doctor have scheduled an MRI. I was finally feeling like we might get to the root of this. Then today….. UNOVA called to re-schedule the MRI because they said they were waiting for insurance approval. My insurance company says they are waiting for UNOVA to send them the clinical report.

Dr.Kerina gets directly to the type of surgery you need. No shots or other temporary bandaids just what you need. The results of my knee replacement greatly exceeded my expectations and the resulting scar is almost negligible because of the great closure by his assistant Margret. Thank you both and highest regards B Magee

Dr. Kerina did a partial knee replacement on my right knee. He said that my knee was worse then he thought, and the 90 minute procedure took him 4 hours to finish! I appreciate the extra time he took to get my knee right the 1st time.

Dr. Karina caught the mistake 2 other orthopedic surgeons missed. He canceled part of his Thanksgiving to operate on me immediately. Great job of explaining problem, procedure and follow up. Broken Kneecap that had serious complications for surgery. Amazing little pain after surgery and only hairline width 6 length scar. Knowledgeable, experienced, kind and compassionate Dr Karina is a solid 10 Stars!
