Dr. Jeffrey Hassel, MD

I was a Patient of Dr. H since 1997 to the time he left RH. I was looking for a doctor and did my homework in research and found Dr. H practice. He was the absolute best doctor I ever had for over 20 years. His staff that worked with him was just as caring and professional as he was. He took great care of me and made sure he addressed any underlined issues or illness that may have caused me to be ill. My son when he became a young man was a patient of Dr. H also and he got the same great care as I did. I then referred many of my friends family and co workers who were looking for a doctor in the area to his practice. Later my grandson became a patient of Dr. Hassel office and was fortunate to experience the care I was getting. It’s very hard to find a doctor that understand you and is willing to go the extra mile to do the right thing for you. His bedside manor was very professional. When I went to the cape may courthouse urgent care with my boyfriend, Dr. Jeffrey Hassel was terribly disrespectful and inappropriate. My boyfriend graduated with his bachelors degree in mechanical engineering from Drexel University, starting a new job in 2 weeks, and did not have health insurance in the meantime because of unforeseen reasons. The first thing Dr. Hassel said to my boyfriend was, “you don’t have health insurance, and you realize a Cat Scan is $1,000, and treated my boyfriend terribly wrong because he didn’t have insurance. Not even a “Hello what is bringing you in today?” My boyfriend told him he is starting a new engineering job next week and if he needs a doctors note to which Hassel said “it’s not next tuesday so it’s not next week”. To make my point abundantly clear, I myself am graduating in 2 years with my Masters in Public Health, and Dr. Jeffrey Hassel is apart of the problem. You should NEVER treat someone less than what they deserve, when you have no idea.

He lied to me i took a week of and he didnt do what he claimed he would.??

Dr. Hassel genuinely cares about his patients. He doesn't treat you like just another #. He spends as much time as needed to ensure you are well informed, even if it exceeds your appt. time. He really listens to your symptoms & concerns, offers his medical opinion based on many years of experience, discusses treatment options WITH you (as though you're an active participant and decision-maker involved in your medical care), & finally, provides a treatment plan that takes your input into account.
