Dr. Jeffrey Hadsall, MD

Dr. Hadsall is supposedly my PCP at Sansum, but I haven’t been able to see him in the last 4 years. I always get shifted to his PA who seems overwhelmed with her workload and isn’t able to give my case the attention it needs. Honestly I don’t even bother trying reach Dr. Hadsall anymore, I just go to Cottage urgent care.

Referred me to specialist for my PSA, which was increasing, but still under the 'danger' zone. Turns out, because of that, my cancer was detected early and taken care of. I do appreciate that

My wife and I were Dr. Hadsall's patients for all the lucky seven years we lived in Santa Barbara. Always up-to-date with the latest research, Dr. Hadsall was thorough: all complaints, conditions, and exams were checked, found, discussed with us in an educated adult level of conversation, and treated within the latest available scientific parameters. When necessary, Dr. Hadsall would recommend specialists and exams, but never unnecessarily. We always followed his advice, even having a PPO. In addition, Dr. Hadsall was a very affable person, taking the time to know us before, during, and after visits. Our annual checkups were always followed by at least a phone call or another type of follow-up. Unlike younger doctors, Dr. Hadsall was never afraid to touch or feel the region of the complaint (my current doctor, a female, has never touched me even after three years of checkups. Never!) Dr. Hadsall and the Sansum Clinic are two of the main things we miss from Santa Barbara.

He is one of the brightest and most capable doctors I have every had. He listens, has a wealth of knowledge, is personable, and demonstrates true caring for his patients. I literally trust this doctor with my life.

Dr. Hadsall is always attentive and takes everything seriously. He has clear explanations, and never seems rushed. I always have confidence that he will figure out what is going on, and either treat it himself, or refer to the appropriate specialist.

I went in for a routine check up and, because he asked a couple of questions, he was then able to charge my insurance company for two visits! One "wellness checkup" and the other for an "office visit." Seems outrageous that he could essentially double bill for an appointment that might have taken 15 minutes.

Excellent Doctor, was thorough and explained everything.

THERE IS NO HANDS ON EXAM, NO LISTENING TO HEART AND LUNGS, JUST TALK. EVEN WHEN A PRE-OP PHYSICAL, THE EXAM IS EXTREMELY ABBREVIATED WITH REGARD TO A PHYSICAL EXAM. HE SEEMS TO HAVE A PROBLEM WITH TOUCHING AND EXAMINING PATIENTS
