Terrible. He didn't even know the hospitals policy on a very important med issue. He encouraged me to get a SIBO test for Ulcerative colitis @ the University while my Dr. here said a home kit is just as good. So. my Dr. in Des Moines gave me the home kit with specific instructions. I was negative after a confusing mess!

I've been to a lot of GI doctors in the past 32 years due to Crohn's disease. From Mayo Clinic, Fransiscan Skemp in LaCrosse to UW Madison. Dr. Goldman is by far the best doctor I've had for GI. He is very intelligent and also takes the time to listen to all concerns and will even ask if I have questions or concerns. He will also listen to me with ideas and suggestions I have about my care and tells me, "You know your body better than anyone and have had Crohn's for so long to know what works and what doesn't. You know when something is wrong." Not only does he care about my health he also cares about me as a person. If I could give more than 5 stars as a rating I would. Aurora and the GI patients and employees will definitely miss him and lose a great doctor if he leaves or retires.

I don't trust this doctor. He seems to be in business to bill insurance, not save lives. he missed a sessile duodenal adenoma in my second and third level of duodenum probably because he was too busy zapping argon at my stomach to increase the bill. Then, Aurora bans you because you don't like their doctor. Going to another doc likely saved my life - this new doc looks out for ME not himself.

I am a 5'10 woman weighing 118lbs. I saw him when I was continuing to experience weightloss and my only advice was to drink ensure, take a drug with side effects of weight gain and come back in 3 months. He did not believe that I was eating. They forgot to do the upper half of my colonoscopy. I spent thousands of dollars on a couple visits. I had to tell the PA what to test me for. Useless.

The receptionist was extremely rude and unhelpful. Not planning to return as this last time was just one of many bad experiences here.

I have had gastroenterologists in the past that were horrible and I was so relieved when I met Dr Goldman. He put me at ease and he understood how I felt and why.

During an incident of a rapid onset of a bleeding duodenal ulcer Dr Goldman's expertise was crucial in getting the bleeding under control and healing started. Both before and after the ECG Dr Goldman explained the procedure as well as the probable causes of the illness. After the ECG Dr Goldman went over the results with me in the recovery room and again with my family in the waiting room. He took the time to answer questions as well as address any concerns we had. He put us all at ease.
