Dr Gilsdorf and Staff
Dr. Gilsdorf is a great doctor. The lady that helped prep my son for surgery was great as well. However, The office staff doesn’t seem quite up to par in comparison. I need some time sensitive paperwork to be completed. The paperwork was faxed (twice) and the contact person is Lexa. I’ve spoken to her but she lacks a sense of urgency, has not contacted me to discuss the elements that need to be noted in the paperwork. The office staff is the first lines of the office and needs to be as professional and accommodating as the medical staff. If not for the staff, this would have been a 5 star review

Lack of follow through and poor office support
Beware this doctor sends office visit notes out for dictation and the patient is at the mercy of waiting for transcription, even if it is holding up an MRI. I have been waiting for over 2 weeks to be able to obtain prior authorization for an MRI, but can’t because my visit notes aren’t completed. The front office does not care, and apparently this is all very normal for this doctor because of how he does his notes. Do not see him if you want to receive care in a reasonable amount of time. He was a fine doctor but this is an absolute deal breaker and I cannot believe this is his standard of care for patients.

Dr. Gilsdorf has replaced my right ACL, and done arthroscopic work on my knee. He's treated me for a broken heel (calcaneus) and separated shoulder. I appreciate his knowledge, attentiveness, and his guidance/recommendation for alternatives to surgeries. I appreciate him rebuilding me every time and I'm sure I'll be seeing him again in the future after my next snowboard/skateboard injury!

I have seen Dr. Gilddorf once 2010 when he did knee replacement. Today I saw him for my torn right rotator cuff. He is a very thorough doctor and explains things. Looks for alternatives to surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Gilsdorf.

Excellent physician. I have seen Dr. Gilsdorf for various issues over the years. Always right on target with the correct diagnosis and treatment plan with quick resolution of issues. Recently, I was in for knee pain. Dr. Gilsdorf saw me, had X-Rays done on same visit in the office then came back into the room with a treatment plan. Very efficient. Excellent office staff.

Dr. Gilsdorf was very professional and attentive as I communicated issues experienced with knees, elbows and shoulder. X-rays were taken at the office in a matter of minutes, Dr. Gilsdorf quickly returned to explain his findings and suggested treatment as well as when to return for the follow-up visit. I found the entire experience at MMI to be excellent from the time I walked in the door. All staff (reception, doctor, x-ray staff and billing staff) were friendly and professional with next to no wait time. I've seen negative reviews for MMI, however, my experience could not have been better. Thank you!

Very unpleasant experience. Last minute car issues, had to get an Uber, called office to say we would be 5-10 minutes late, they said get there as soon as we can. We get there 6 minutes late and they tell us the Dr refuses to see to today. We ask why and they respond he won't see you. We ask is it because we are late? Yes, well why didn't they say don't bother coming when we called? No offer to reschedule or apologize for not telling us not to come, nothing. Another patient at the next window had a confirmation email and they tell her they were having computer issues, she doesn't have an appointment, too bad you can't be seen. She mentions this is the 2nd time this has happened. We found a different Dr and had a much better experience
