Dr. Jeffrey Chick, MD

Dr Chick is one of the most and thorough and caring physicians I’ve ever been treated by. I had a l scary upper extremity DVT and found him when I was searching for the top doctors in his field in the nation. I traveled from out of state so our pre-op appointment was telehealth and Dr Chick spent just under an hour on the phone with me answering every question I had, fully explaining my particular anatomy questions, and making sure I had complete understanding of my condition, surgery options, and surgery outcomes. That kind of attention and care is rare, and it’s obvious Dr Chick truly cares about his patients. Surgery went great and I had a successful outcome. There were a lot of instances throughout this process where he went above and beyond for me, and I am so grateful to him. I can’t recommend Dr Chick enough for vascular surgery, I would look no further.

Gosh where to begin.... My name is Jennifer blanken I was diagnosed with chronic pelvic congestion. The amount of pain that I suffered with for years it affected every part of my body to my organs to my joints My overall health I thought I was going to be in a wheelchair next year because I could hardly walk the pain feeling like I was giving birth to a bowling ball every day. Doctor check suggested what I needed to have done. Was very prompt at getting me an appointment showed a lot of compassion to my pain I went ahead nervous about the surgery but went ahead and did it and he has saved my life I have no more pain I feel like a new woman. I have a new outlook on life. Dr Jeffrey chicks compassion and magical hands has healed me I'm forever grateful to this wonderful man.

In 2018, Dr. Chick uncovered a rare vein disease that I didn't know existed. I went into the emergency room to get control of lymphedema in my legs. However, Dr. Chick insisted on an ultrasound. He found my legs were full of blood clots. He knew at this point we were dealing with something much worse than lymphedema. Dr. Chick suspected it had something to do with my inferior vena cava. After a CT Scan, and much to my entire family's surprise, I found out that I had a rare disease of Inferior Vena Cava Agenesis or Atresia...I basically did not have an inferior vena cava. Dr. Chick was very calm, yet very excited to talk through my diagnosis. He talked to me and my family to where we could understand and with a calmness to where we knew we had the right doctor for the rare procedure. I'm very grateful that I had Dr. Chick, a doctor so knowledgeable with a calm confidence that helped me feel at ease at an uneasy time.

Dr. Chick is an exceptional interventional radiologist who played a crucial role in saving my life. I had been suffering from a serious case of pulmonary embolism, and Dr. Chick was the one who intervened and provided me with the treatment. From the moment I met Dr. Chick, I knew I was in good hands. He is an expert in his field and possesses an understanding of the latest treatments and techniques. I was amazed at how quickly and effectively he was able to remove the blood clots that were blocking my lungs (thinners didn't work). If you are ever in need of an interventional radiologist, I would highly recommend Dr. Chick. He is a true lifesaver and one of the best in the business.

I had a filter removal by Dr. Chick at the university of washington hospital and it was a positive experience. Three others could not get the thing out of me. I was impressed by his professionalism, knowledge, and interventional radiology care for me. The procedure was seamless and I was surprised.

I recently underwent interventional radiology treatment for deep vein thrombosis. I was initially very apprehensive about the procedure after I had many unsuccessful procedures at other hospitals, but the expertise of Dr. Chick and the interventional radiologists put me at ease. The procedure itself was very straightforward and the team was very attentive and thorough throughout. I was kept informed at every step and felt very comfortable with the entire process.

Dr. Jeff Chick is a lifesaver! I came to him with swollen face and difficulty breathing because my superior vena cava was blocked. I was so scared, but he was calm and explained the procedure to me. After opening my veins and placing stents, I am back to normal. I am so grateful for his expertise and care. He is the best!
