One of the best medical interactions I've ever had
I can't even begin to say enough positive things about Dr. Cantor and his team. if you're having spinal issues and are looking for other opinions like I was, I would have to say I think youre in the right place, do yourself a favor and consult with Dr. Cantor. I'm one day post op and feel absolutely amazing. The best part of the entire experience is how involved and caring Dr Cantor and his team are. I've never had such an in depth briefing by any doctor let alone a surgeon, for my consultation he took so much care and time to go over everything in extreme detail and discuss everything with me. Also some of the best office staff I've ever had the pleasure of Dealing with. Thank you Brenda! in the hospital he had both of his PA's check on me and the entire team stop bye before and after surgery. He even had internal medicine pop in twice just for good measure. His comprehensive and caring attitude toward his patients care is unmeasured. His careful planning and warnings are amazing.

Spinal MRI consultation
Telehealth
Dr. Cantor was so thorough in his detailed explanation of my MRI results. His knowledgeable explanation was formulated by his many years of spinal care and surgery. His kind and patient demeanor was reassuring as I was informed about my MRI results. Which turns out to be a Spondylolisthesis that I have had since I was a kid. (Years and years of unexplained back and leg pain.) Over the years I have never found another doctor that even addressed my back pain to any significant degree. Seeing the MRI image was unsettling and I was so glad to have Dr. Cantor be the one to explain what my spine problems are. It was so refreshing to find a doctor that will devote as much time to educating his patients as he does. I would describe Dr. Cantor as the ultimate professional!

It was life changing.
I went to my local arm surgeon with tingling down my right arm. After an ex-ray I was sent to see a spine surgeon and an MRI. found out I has severe deterioration of my c2-6 vertebrae and severe stenosis of my spinal canal. A surgery was needed, the surgeon wanted to open the vertebrae and use metal rods or screws to stabilize the spine, front and back. Went to Duke University, again rods and screws, then Carolina spine and brain, same results. I spent days on the internet because the methods would be an end to my active lifestyle, and found Dr Cantor. I was desperate by now and we packed the car and drove straight to his office. Got evaluated and sat in the waiting room for 6 hours until I could see him. He scheduled me in 2 weeks, my condition was worseing, legs going numb, loss of balance, couldn't fill out a form, hands going numb. Got to florida, had the surgery, and it was like a miracle, in one week I could write, had control of my legs and arms. One month healed.

Dr. Cantor Consultation and follow-up
Telehealth
“I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Cantor for a consultation and follow up appointment for upcoming surgery on March 31st. He was incredibly thorough in explaining everything to me, using models, and images to help me understand the issues showing up in my MRI. Dr. Cantor’s kind and patient nature made me feel at ease. He took the time to answer all my questions and address any concerns I had. I truly trust him based on his professionalism and the care he has shown me. He appears to be very experienced with expertise in spinal surgery. I am praying for a successful surgery.

Thankful I chose Dr. Cantor for my back surgery
My experience with Dr. Cantor and team has been excellent. I am impressed at how organized and communicative the staff are at Dr. Cantor's office. I have already met 3 PAs and multiple medical staff at his office and they gave me a play by play of what I would be feeling after surgery (they were 100% right). Since I made my appointment for surgery I have received at least 10 different referrals from patients including ones from my co-worker. I am almost 2 weeks out of surgery and am feeling pretty good. I am glad I chose Dr. Cantor!

Dr Cantor-finest
Telehealth
Dr. Cantor was so thorough in his detailed explanation of what he saw, what benefit or not prior treatments (not with him) have been, and formulated a well educated decision to go forward with surgery. It's not often you will find a doctor of any kind that will devote as much time to educating his patients as he does.

Extremely Disappointing Experience with Dr. Jeffre
Telehealth
I had hoped for a thorough and professional second opinion from Dr. Jeffrey Cantor at the Cantor Spine Center regarding my upcoming neck surgery, but my experience was incredibly disappointing.First, Dr. Cantor was quite late to the video appointment, leaving me waiting for a significant amount of time with no communication or apology. When he finally joined, it quickly became clear that he had not reviewed any of the extensive medical information I had sent over beforehand. Despite being insistent that I provide all MRI images, X-rays, and other test reports for a 'thorough review,' he barely referenced anything except the MRI images during the consultation. What was even more unsettling was Dr. Cantor’s attitude. He came across as arrogant, dismissive, and seemed genuinely annoyed that I was taking up his time with my concerns. He didn’t appear interested in providing a comprehensive review of my case, nor did he offer any useful advice or suggest questions I should ask my surgeon.

First off we are not related! CANTER not CANTOR.I sought treatment after a failed back surgery. I was intrigued by the ultrasonic approach and feel that I made the correct choice in choosing Dr. Cantor. He and his staff were very thorough in explaining the options and techniques he intended and did use! I am one year post op and Could not be happier. My life was restored and I am once again hiking, biking and playing pickleball. Very caring staff and would recommend everyone to consider them if they ever need back surgery!

Simply Amazing! Dr. Cantor is an expert!
I consulted with three neurosurgeons throughout Florida before making my decision. Dr. Cantor was hands-down the most knowledgeable and spent the most time with me and was the one who gave me the best options and the best solution to fixing my spinal stenosis issues along with scoliosis..

Amazing Doctors and staff do exist!
The first meeting with Dr Cantor was great. He was running a bit behind schedule but I understood soon enough. It is rare these days to have a patient doctor take such care of their patients. He spent well over an hour explaining everything I needed to know about my condition and the surgical solutions. He is very pleasant and listened to all my questions and concerns. He talked plainly with me about everything. I was scared of surgery but after meeting Dr Cantor and hearing about his 35+ years experience put me at ease!! He is the only surgeon for me! His staff is beyond wonderful. Everyone was personable and friendly. They seemed to enjoy their jobs and helped me out with educational documentation and appointment scheduling. Natalie is wonderful! I am so lucky I was referred to the Cantor Spine Center. If you need a surgeon definitely contact Dr. Cantor. I’m not a paid reviewer just one who was very pleased with EVERYONE at The Cantor Spine Center.

My Experience With The Cantor Spine Institute
My initial consultation via zoom with Dr. Cantor was very informative. He was very generous with his time (10 times longer than another surgeon I consulted with initially) and he did not end the meeting until my wife and I had no further questions. I flew to Florida a week later to visit him in person and he spent almost the same amount of time with me as he did the zoom meeting. I had severe cervical stenosis and I was very concerned about surgery and the dangers and potential side effects. I initially found Dr. Cantor on his Youtube channel where I learned much about the procedure he employs, there was no other surgeon I would consider. It has been 16 weeks since my surgery and the pain and electrification of my hands and fingers is essentially gone. Dr. Cantor, Rose, Carlos, Dedra and the rest of the team at the Cantor Spine Institute. Many thanks to all of you. I am very blessed to have found you.

Video & In Person Exams. Excellent Explanations.
The first was a video consultation for a 2nd opinion (technically my 8th opinion). Dr. Cantor took his time and was very clear about my condition. He summarized in this visit all the common elements I gleaned from the other 7 doctors (considered top doctors in their cities). I came away with a very clear understanding of my case. 3 weeks later I had an in-office exam. By this time I had a 2nd MRI and 2nd EMG to compare. My brother & SO had been concerned about all the recommendations for surgery because I am asymptomatic. Not once did I feel like Dr. Cantor was pushing me toward surgery. Rather, I felt that he was explaining the pros and cons. When the exam was over, my brother and SO said they finally understood why someone with the same fact set as I have with my condition might opt for preventative surgery. They were both of the opinion that Dr. Cantor would be their 1st choice of surgeon for me if I decided to proceed with surgery. (I am still just absorbing the information).
