Excellent Surgical Repair
I had an excellent experience with Dr. Brooks, his office, x-ray and in office PT staff. I broke my collarbone on April 1st (not lucky) and my doctor recommended Dr. Brooks as a leader in the field (lucky). I found Dr. Brooks took over 45 minutes at my first appointment to thoroughly examine my collarbone and present the treatment options to me. He helped my select surgery and ensured me that I would be back out on the tennis court soon. I felt he was extremely careful and knowledgeable in choosing the correct screws and plates for my collarbone repair to minimize long term damage. He was careful to leave nerves and blood supply. Next he followed my recovery and had excellent PT staff to optimize my outcomes. I am back on the tennis court and very thankful to have been in such qualified hands during such a stressful period in my life.

Dr. Brooks goes above and beyond!
I broke my wrist while ice skating right before Christmas. Even though he had no availability until jan9, Dr. Brooks squeezed me in the next day. He did not insist on surgery but rather educated me based on my type of fracture, clinical studies, and his experience. After my surgery, he treated me with utmost respect and patiently and thoroughly addressed every one of my concerns. He never got frustrated or impatient with my endless questions. After my 6 week check up I was 95% healed but still anxious about skiing. He went above and beyond to allay my fears by writing me a detailed explanation of bone healing and the most unbelievably inspirational message to trust my healing and go back to living! I have broken many bones and had several surgeries but never in my experience have I met a doctor more dedicated to doing what is right. He uses his talents and skills to help people …and he’s funny too!

Dr. Brooks - five stars
2 of my four children have had injuries and gone to Dr. Brooks and the PT facility in his office. Most recently, I slipped a disc and pinched a nerve and Dr Brooks squeezed me which helped accelerate my recovery. Each time, his staff is kind, patient and very helpful. The offices are clean and there is plenty of parking. Dr. Brooks is patient and understanding and very personable. His Xray technician and the Physical Therapists I have been working with have all been incredibly easy to be around, helpful and jovial. Both my children and myself have had great success with Dr. Brooks and his staff and would undeniably recommend him to anyone seeking Orthopedic help.

Dr Brooks took care of two family members - carpel tunnel and ulnar never release surgery for my wife, and a broken scaphiod surgery for my son. Both patients have returned to full strength and range of motion. His particular knowledge and skill in repairing the scaphiod is outstanding (the scaphoid is a very serious fracture that can have life long implications - my son's surgery and recovery was a huge success under Dr Brooks). He also spends considerable time with his patients counseling them and answering any and all questions. He is truly a remarkable surgeon.

Excellent Physician. As a Physician myself & specializing in Functional Anatomy & Sports Medicine - I cd not believe how Dr Brooks really tested FUNCTION during his exam. So many Drs often just look at & tend to solely concentrate on the imaging & barely touch the patient these days. He spent a lot of time & asked pertinent questions. Altho my problem hasn’t been solved (prob’ly needs time-I agree.) - he did not thoughtlessly rush into surgery as often as surgeons may want to do. His thinking, approach, & decision making were extremely appreciated by my husband (also an MD &) myself. I wd also like to note how great his staff is! Caren is lovely! And other staff members as well - Carla! etc..

Dr. Brooks performed surgery on my fractured scaphoid using a titanium pin. I have zero pain, and I swear my wrist is stronger and more flexible than it was prior.

I can't think of a more personable and warm surgeon that I have ever met - no hesitation to recommend to anybody! He takes the time to examine and explain in terms the patient can understand. Honestly explains problems and risks involved including no improvement after surgery. Each step in evaluation/treatment perfectly explained in a non-rushed manner. Front office and surgery coordinator excellent, but to top it off the hand-OT, Heather, just adds to all the pluses this office have. Bravo!
