Very disappointed
I have used this practiced on and off for well over 20 years and loved Dr. John Gallagher who I trusted with 3 surgeries. I was unable to see him for my issue and tried Dr. Briglia. I waited 1hr to get into the room for what amounted to a 5 minute exam, which felt rushed, and a doctor that did not seem to be interested. He prescribed medications, and ended with 'hope you feel better or else I guess we will see you again.' Trust me, he will never see me for any follow up appointments.

I liked Dr. Briglia as he was gentle and soft spoken. I went to the office with complaints of discomfort in my throat. Dr. Briglia examed my throat with a camera and saw nothing abnormal. The discomfort continued and I returned some time later. Again, Dr. Briglia examined me and saw nothing. The discomfort/pain was intermittent so I figured it was nothing as well. BOY WAS I WRONG! I write this so you know you need to be your own advocate. If you think something is wrong pursue it. Don’t think you’re being silly or a hypochondriac. Several years have gone by and I have been diagnosed with stage four tongue cancer. I had 40% of my tongue removed as well as lymph nodes. I had reconstruction of my tongue with tissue and artery from my forearm. The tumor originated in the area of discomfort. This has been a huge deal that perhaps didn’t have to be. I blame myself, but I also want to say doctors need to listen to the patient not just hear!

Dr. Briglia is the real deal. I was struggling with 2 a day nose-bleeds which he cured in one visit. More important he is indeed very reassuring, knowledgeable, caring and highly competent. He told me that if the chemical treatment did not stop the nose bleeds, he had an outpatient hospital procedure that surely would. He did not save my life but he added substantially to the quality of my life. Thanks Doc !

Dr. Briglia was very reassuring, he really took time to go over my Son's CT scan with him and wasn't in a hurry to perform surgery. Very nice doctor, explained things to us in detail. Thank you Dr. Briglia!
