Dr. Jeffrey Berti, MD

My mother had a very bad mole, he knew almost immediately that it needed to be biopsies. It was a melanoma and his quick appropriate actions probably saved her life. He’s just a wonderful doctor!

Dr. Berti walked into the exam room not wearing a mask. When I asked him to put one on he walked back in with the mask only covering his mouth. Had to ask again for him to have the mask cover his nose and mouth. He didn’t wash his hands before examining my child, and didn’t wear gloves. I wouldn’t trust a doctor that can’t follow simple infection control or follow CDC guidelines.

Dr. Berti did procedure that made my face look uneven. Dr acknowledged his mistake but wasn’t regretting his work and refused to refund my money. He said don’t come back if you don’t like my work.

I went to Dr. Berti's clinic for a mole screening. First, the wait time is long. After the nurse interviewed me, it took a while before Dr. Berti attended to me. But the more frustrating thing is Dr. Berti hardly examined me. He just stared at me for 10 seconds and that was it! No examination. He said I belong to a race that is low risk, so he did not examine me. This is problematic. If doctors just use your race profile to make a diagnosis, then who is to stop patients from doing the same? This is the reason why many people rely on self-diagnosis and on what they read from the internet, since doctors tend to just use your risk profile anyway. Patients pay a lot assuming that they will be thoroughly examined. Dr. Berti's clinic, I think, caters more to those who need the more expensive cosmetic procedures, so unless this is what you need, do not go to him.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with Dr. Berti and his staff. They make me feel very comfortable and are friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Berti takes the time to really listen to my issues and offers many options available for my condition. I have recommended Dr. Berti to several family members and friends and they are very satisfied as well. He is close to my home and has late office hours, if needed.

My meeting with Dr Berti was very straight forward and no BS. We talked about my specific problem and he suggested biologics and covered all of my questions and concerns. I felt completely comfortable with both him and his nurse and cannot recommend him more.

Would not recommend. I went there with what turned out to be an over grown oil gland in the middle of my forehead. I asked if he could remove or should I go to another specialist and he indicated that he could do it. I had the procedure and before I could get the stitches out, the large gland had grown back and with the scar, in my opinion was worse that when I first came there.
