Incompetent at best
Dr. Dormu performed a venogram to diagnose some pain in my leg. He verbally gave me a diagnosis after the venogram and a piece of paper stating the diagnosis and prescribed a plan. I asked for a copy of the venogram he refused. I called his office to ask for a copy was told that I could have all my other records but not my venogram. They said that Dr. Dormu never signed it so it wasn't a true medical record. Suspicious, I went to three other vascular surgeons who requested the venogram but were turned down. Each of the other doctors indicated: 1) even without the venogram he misdiagnosed my condition, 2) the treatment that he prescribed was wildly inappropriate even given his misdiagnosis, 3) his treatment plan would certainly would have made my condition worse. Separately, while he was still treating me I had a serious DVT and only a week later, despite my informing his office of my DVT, he performed a procedure that put my life at risk.

Dr. Dormu is great, but refer with extreme care. He need bring back some of his original staff from the old office in order to maintain his professional office atmosphere success. The present staff are unpleasant and truly need Customer Service Training. If you feel bad, they truly showed no empathy. Their attitudes and body actions actually make you feel worst before seeing Dr. Dormu. Now, Dr. Dormu smile turn things around a little, but front desk improvements are essential in order to maintain his older senior patients. Recently, I received a call to inform me that "Dr.Dormu is no longer accepting my present Insurance- MD I.P.A. United Healthcare". A whole month o my appointment in January 2022. I'm please to be Dr.Dormu patient, but not sure to how long I can continued to enduure. Consumer Customer Senior Patient

Dr. Dormu is the absolute best. He was very clear and shared everything that needs to be done to actually SAVE my Uncle's limb. He doesn't talk down to his patient and gives you real hope from the moment he examines you. By my standards he is the best at what he does . His skill is s 10, his knowledge a 10, but his Character is an 11. See him if you want to save your loved ones chances. My uncle is a Vietnam Veteran. The fact that he could save his leg meant the world to our family.

Dr. Dormu is fine, its his front desk staff. One of them isn't any good. She provides terrible customer service and she lies. She had me come all the way to the laurel office just to yell me that my husband's insurance won't cover his Procedure. She lied twice about this at two difference locations. Same lie, for two different locations. Dr. Dormu will end losing a lot of customers because of her if he dont tighten up that front desk.
