Provider appears very stressed, tired, burnt out, and hurried. He had prescribed a medication that was intolerable to my system. I had appointment to swap medication, instead the provider tried to coerce me to keep taking the medication that I consider poison to my system. When I replied that I am here to stop taking the medication, his face dropped and told the whole story. He did not know what to prescribe me and did not know what to do. He was more concerned about himself than his patient. I no longer trust anything he has to say, so am looking elsewhere for medical care.

Does not listen to your input. Wants to make decision his way 100% Does not have an answer to your problem Does not refer a particular doctor if you need a specialist. Tells you that they are all good. In any profession, some are better than others Does not prescribe medication that has helped me before with another doctor I liked him the first time I saw him, but my confidence in him has gone down ever since

No interest in what I was saying. Was a put off from my letters from Salem Health for different procedures I needed. Very uninterested. Miss Dr. Edmonds

polite, knowledgeable, comprehensive
I visited Dr. Brown for the first time today. I have read the reviews and I am surprised that there are some negative reviews. He was friendly and listened to my symptoms. He reviewed my previous medical history and his diagnosis was helpful. He was not condescending towards me and he treated me with respect. I would not hesitate to see him again.

Horrible. Even though X-rays showed major problems of the spine he would not respond to requests (3) from the insurance company so I could have an MRI. Had to change doctors, which made me endure 3 more months of severe back pain before the tests were completed and I had major back surgery. He also became incensed if I mentioned something I had read about a medical condition. Would not recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Brown has been my doctor since 2004. Never great, but passable for a PC. He has gone to terrible. I predict he will hurt somebody, if not from misdiagnosis, refusing to refer to a specialist, or just plain old neglect! I have gone to another doctor.

Rude, dismissing, insulting, and not knowledgeable. Worst PCP I've ever had. Avoid at all costs.

Dr. Brown has difficulty in getting prescriptions refilled. Do you really want to trust this guy on something more serious than that?
