Dr. Jeana Summers, DO

Dr. Summers was great! Reviewed my son’s X-rays and came up with a solid game plan. She is very thorough and explains everything and is always so nice. My son’s surgery went very well and he has recovered fully from his broken collarbone. I recommend Dr. summers to all of our sports kids and parents.

I had a fractured femur and Dr Summers and her team got me in very quickly to fix it and make sure that I was stable. They are very good at answering all my follow up questions and worries. I felt in great and competent hands with them.

Dr Summers is very personable and makes you feel comfortable right from the get go! All of her staff at the orthopedic office is very helpful including front desk help.

My son is autistic and nonverbal and doctors settings can be really tough for him. When he broke his leg, we were referred to Dr. Summers for follow up care, she was so kind and understanding. She was genuinely happy to help us and to help our son heal, her entire staff from the nurse to the gentleman who applied the cast were so kind to our family and so encouraging to our son who was being so brave. We are so grateful for our experience!

Dr.Summers was great with my 6yr old son who fractured his wrist from a fall. She even made sure to pronounce my kiddo’s name properly so she was trying it outside with the nurse(which I heard while waiting inside the examination room). That impressed me first and foremost. She walked us through the X-Ray and the next steps of casting in a manner that’s easily understandable. Her conversation with my kiddo was very friendly and that made him feel at ease before the whole process began.It removed all fear from his mind and instantly the scenario of getting a cast done at a fracture center looked as if my son was going to pick a toy from a store! He became so excited about it. As a parent I felt relieved and developed the confidence that my kiddo is in great hands! She answered all of our questions promptly. Would highly recommend Dr.Summers to anyone who is looking for Orthopedic&Fracture care.

We feel so fortunate to have gotten lined up with Dr. Summers. My multi-sport athlete son severely tore his meniscus and she was able to do a complete repair. She explained everything so well to him. She also understood his desire to get back to sport as soon as safely possible and she has been extremely supportive of him and his journey to do so.

After seeing other doctors with no answers, Dr. Summers quickly diagnosed my daughter’s injury. We are confident with her treatment plan and felt like we were in very capable hands. It was a relief to finally have a diagnosis!

I fractured my ankle in 3 places. Dr Summers did a major surgery to put me back together. I have had zero pain, and I feel confident in her assessment of my progression. She’s also a big bundle of positivity! Something I can appreciate while going through a major issue like I am. Thumbs up and highly recommend.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Dr. Summers. She is fantastic, takes her time, and explains everything in great details to where you understand. She spoke to my seven-year-old and broke everything down for him to understand in kid friendly terms. She was so patient with him even when he told his stories that were drawn out, she still sat there with a smile on her face the entire time listening and engaging with him to find out what had happened during his incident. She was fantastic and if you are hesitant about selecting her let me tell you, don’t be! Thank you, Dr. Summers!!

Dr. Summers is comprehensive, brilliant and has a great bedside manner. She gives you the time you need, addresses your concerns and treats patients with compassion. She and her team are top notch.

Dr Summers provided honest assessments and care options, not rushing us or pressuring us to do surgery. She was always upbeat and pleasant, treating our 16yo son as an intelligent young adult, involving him in care decisions, rather than talking past him to us. She shared imaging with us too which was neat. She made us feel comfortable about his knee surgery when it became obvious that would be the best option for him. He is 7 weeks post op now, and 99% healed, other than continuing knee & leg strengthening. Hopefully we will never need Dr Summers’ help again, but if he does have another major orthopedic injury, she is who we would want to see.

I had surgery for a fractured kneecap on December 17th. I’m recovering well, and I’m very appreciative of the care provided by Dr. Summers. She has communicated extremely well, providing information about expectations. She is also warm and personable. Her medical assistant, Kaitlyn, has also been very helpful. Wendy, in the front office, was superb, getting me a wheelchair when I checked in and wheeling me out to my car at the end of her shift.

My son had a broken wrist and another clinic wouldn’t help him until a week later so I called around and this office knew the urgency and got my son right in. From her assistant, to the cast people, to the X-ray techs, and to the DR my son got the best care. I really felt like they cared about his pain and trying to help him as best as they can. This place is certainly the best in my book.

Dr Summers is delightful! Her personality puts you at ease and her abilities gives you confidence you'll be well taken care of. I was told at the hospital I would need surgery on both my ankle and knee, but in Dr summers’ expert opinion it was not necessary and I healed up perfectly!! I would highly recommend Dr Summers!

Dr. Summers is great! She is the 5th doctor that my 15 year old has seen for a hip issue and will likely be the last. She gave us more info and got to the bottom of our issue when 4 other doctors ( with more years of experience) could/would not. We are very happy continuing with Dr. Summers!

My teenage daughter went in for a month old ankle injury. Dr. Summers was everything you'd want in a specialist: knowledgeable, kind, passionate, and thorough. With two athletes in the family, I'm sure we'll see her again. And, the whole office was friendly and efficient!

Dr. Summers was the 3rd Surgeon I was sent to, due to underlying health conditions. I didn’t want knee replacement if I could get away with an Arthroscopic procedure for now. She went off the X-rays & MRI the previous 2 Surgeons had ordered & reviewed. I’ve had this procedure on the opposite 2 years prior & was released on crutches with immediate PT 4 days later. Not with Dr. Summers. The work she did with the mess she had in my knee to work with... and I was released without much for restrictions! My husband was doubtful, I think. I avoided stairs for 2 weeks but walked when it felt good enough, iced it often as well as elevated. No joke, 10 days later only experience slight positional pain. Can’t wait to go back in 12 weeks for my other knee! She has talents like no other doctor I’ve seen!
