Worst doctor I ever seem
She were seeing my son while he was in high school.. She prescribed him a high dose of medication , she knew was to high for him.. She wasn’t concern that it made him act out of the Ordinary.. This is a cold hearted Dr. Please don’t take your kids to see her..

This doctor should have her licensed suspended. She is a psychiatrist. She's in the business to help people. She should be caring and helpful. She's none of those things. I tried to write our experience with her and this site would not let me post my daughters whole story. (too many characters) I will make this shorter than it should be. This doctor did not help my daughter and had my daughter not moved back home temporarily, she may not be with us. Dr P sent a message through her office (after not making my daughters telahealth appointment) that my daughter go to the hospital for suicidal thoughts. She could not call us herself? My daughter did not need the hospital again, she needed a doctor to help regulate her medicine that said DR prescribed. This was suppose to be an appointment after getting out of the hospital a month and a half earlier-This was the first appointment the Dr had. We called the insurance company, gave our story and was given a much more qualified DR.

Dr. Pointon treated my daughter for several year. She was very instrumental in getting me information about my child’s rights. She is very caring and most importantly straightforward. If you want to be cuddled she isn’t the doctor for you. After she moved to another state and I had some questions about my daughters prior care. I called her office in that state, but honestly I didn’t expect a return call. She called me back within an hour. Love Love Love her !!!

When i went to see her i was just out of the hospital. I was suicidal. She took my medication away from me and told me that i had a "fractured personality". I'm Bipolar. What she did could have killed me. I have not clue why she's allowed to treat children. It's not end well for some of them. Truly terrible doctor and a terrible person. completely unprofessional.

Waited 2 months for an appt, which they rescheduled 4 times! Finally told me I could come in that day at 3. I confirmed 3 times but I get there at 2:50 & they tell me I DON'T have an appt but I was "lucky" since someone canceled. After waiting 1.5 hrs, a nurse finally saw me, but she couldn't write prescriptions & said I could pick it up in 2 days. Well, guess what? They either lost it, or she never wrote it in the first place because it's not there! And now she's on vacation & unreachable!

She is very rigid which can be good, but she expects to see immediate results. She dismissed my son for being late (albeit three times), but without any notice or medication to hold him until he was able to be seen by another psychiatrist.

She's okay. She doesn't really seem to care a whole lot, but she got me the medicine to help with my anxiety. The only thing I don't really like is that she would only talk to me for maybe 10 minutes at a time even though I'd have to pay for a full hour. I'd recommend her if you don't really want to talk and just want to be medicated.

Never see this woman. Diagnoses patients without proper (sometimes without any) testing. Will accuse toddlers of drug abuse.

Dr. Pointon is amazing! I've never had a psychiatrist I liked until her. She's straight forward but doesn't make you feel small. I know when I have a problem and need an emergency visit, she's not going to make me feel like I'm an inconvenience like I've had with other doctors in other practices.

When I go to someone, I know what is wrong with me. I need someone who helps me to solve the problem. Not someone who sits back and takes notes. Dr Pointon is very intelligent and talks to me, not at me. She listens, but she also offers advice. I need someone who is straight forward in the conversation. Someone who is not afraid to tell me when I am wrong, and yet sympathizes with my problems. Dr Pointon has been that type of doctor with me. Someone who also be could be a friend. Thank you, Dr!!
